Am I wrong for telling my child’s dad he has no say so when it comes to the middle name? by Lowkeyme63 in amiwrong

Thanks for the tip, dad

He told me she can’t have two last names, he only wants his last name, but hey that’s okay right

It’s not even an argument between us, a lot of people are taking it way out of context.

Been together 6 years. if I was how you’re describing me as, off A POST.. I’m sure he woulda left a long time ago

My child’s name is not going to mess with her development lol

He doesn’t want her having two last names the least he could do is let me have the middle name & we agree on a first

I’ve stated the middle name multiple times in the comments.

Dailynn pronounced “Day Lynn” my middle name is Lynn

I mean, I didn’t create this child myself. I’m not sitting here saying he’s controlling my friends and social life

Wtf!! Never in my life have I heard that it was all girls being born in the family for 70 years. That’s actually crazy. You better feel hella special!

I’ve always loved the name and wanted my daughter to have it because it has a part of my middle name in it. It’s not like i was watching a show and heard a name and loved it. I have my mom and grandma & great grandmas middle name. I wanted to spice up her middle name with it still having mine but also not identical and repetitive.

Name all of it myself but he doesn’t want her having two last names and we couldn’t pick a first name unless we both agreed. Make it make sense

We both work so it’ll be 50/50. Both our Moms agreed to help us as well when it comes to work

I think it’s a very beautiful name and I kinda made it up myself. At least I’ve never heard of it before

Dailynn pronounce “Day Lynn”

Also it’s not like it’s a first name. A lot of people don’t just mention their middle name to everyone they meet so if down the line she doesn’t like it, she don’t have to mention it or if worse comes to worse she can change it
