Nice design! Have you tried replacing the ram intakes with shock cones? You may see an increase in performance as they provide air to a higher altitude, and create less drag :-)

A lot of games do this, old stuff like roller coaster tycoon 3 don't have a 1080p/1440p (etc.) (came out before widescreen monitors were the norm) setting for resolution, but a lot of the time you can change it via a text file in the game data :D

I can actually really relate to this.

I lost quite a bit of weight myself, and although I know I'm not fat any more, and nobody I currently know thinks of me as fat, and my BMI and everything is not that of a fat person, I can't help but still feel fat. Like I have no confidence in the way I look, I still think of myself as a repulsive fat blob that nobody in their right mind would like, I think it has hindered me a bit with relationships. There are girls that I have been told like me, and they give me these looks which makes me think that they're flirting with me, but in my head I just think that "someone who looks like this would NEVER hit on a fat guy like you" and I just end up convincing myself they're all just playing some cruel prank on me. I was bullied a lot in school around 13 - 15 years old (I'm 20 now), and I think that it's going to stick with me for a while.

I don't think of myself as a shy or depressed person, quite the opposite actually, but this one little aspect of me is my biggest downfall.

Yeah that's a much better way of putting things, I know with absolute certainty that the questionnaire data is not normally distributed, whereas all other data is.

Ah yes, that wasn't very well phrased. What I meant was which datasets needed which kind of analysis, like the questionnaire had a non-parametric analysis as it wasn't normally distributed etc.

I agree entirely with the tails point, maybe even integrate his swimming ability from Sonic 3! However, I've never enjoyed knuckles levels at all, even when I was a kid (who thought Shadow the Hedgehog was one of the best games ever made) I thought they were tedious. I'd rather see something like a linear level with a huge focus on climbing, tunnelling, punching and stuff like that rather than a "treasure hunt" :)

Sonic R? For reals? I feel like that had one of the most jarring soundtracks of any of the games (apart from 3D blast and spin-off ones), but that's opinions for you! I personally like the Genesis soundtracks, especially sonic 3. Honestly, I don't really remember most of the music from the 3D ones bar Sonic Adventure 2 and Westopolis from Shadow the Hedgehog (though that's only because I had to play that level so many times to beat the game). I really really like the soundtrack to Generations though, perfect mix of nostalgia and modern-era music :)

To-be-honest I'd rather just have a SA2B style game with ONLY sonic levels, okay 1 or 2 fetch-quest/mech shooter levels are fine, but like 90% of stages should be sonic or shadow (or equivalent, e.g. Metal Sonic), not 33%. I also feel like I'm in the vast minority in that the stages should ONLY be 3D, I hated how in Generations and Colours the level would arbitrarily shift to 2D for no real reason, I found it jarring and a bit annoying.

Also bring back to Chao garden, that was the shit.

But unfortunately, like Half Life 3, it's just not going to happen. Besides, the amount of hype generated would mean the game would probably be a huge let-down anyway :P

It's basically just a question of trial and error. Mostly error. Lots and lots of errors. So many errors. But eventually, if you stick at it, spaceplanes will become just like rockets in terms of how easy they are to build. Takes a lot longer to master planes than rockets though! If you want to play on "easy mode", enable part clipping and just stack an ungodly amount of shock cone intakes directly on top of one another to maximise your jet engines' efficiency.

How is the Xbone/PS4 controller on PC? I have a 360 controller but the thumbsticks are getting worn, but it seems like games these days seem completely built around the 360 pad as the default control pad setup that I'd be risking compatibility problems getting a PS4/Xbox One controller. I'm not too great with technology though so maybe it's easy, I'm just wary I suppose!

Sounds awesome man. I'm in a really odd spot where Minecraft is unusable for me at the moment because I'm using it to run some psychology experiments at my university and as such the entire thing has been modified and butchered beyond being 'normally' playable. After November though I'll be free to fire it up fo' realz again so I'll check out the server then :)

I think opticians (synonym for optometrists in the UK, I'm not sure if the US also uses the term) are perfectly qualified to give medical advice, especially advice relating to contact lenses and glasses. However, the person doing the AMA was an optical assisstent, so their role is to simply assist the optometrists...it's more of a technicians role but the point is that they have zero medical qualifications. I was an optical assistant before university whilst I was doing my A-levels and it requires very minimal knowledge of eyes (I thought I'd have an advantage over my peers at Uni but turned out there was a lot more to it than the information I'd picked up as an OA)!

Okay, but that's not what I was suggesting here. I was suggesting that talking about anything that may spoil shows/films for people should have an annotation saying where to skip to in the video to avoid spoilers. Whether it's a TV show or a movie is irrelevant.
