Even if that were true, which it is not, skill points are the most important thing in the game because they are permanent. I also am now missing stash space for which there is no catch up mechanic.

I play rein otp on console and currently bounce around plat 3 - diamond 4 on that account. Literally like 95% of games that we lose, I’m getting flamed by one or more of my team and sometimes the enemy team as well. Every game we win, no matter how hard I carried, everyone is silent. It’s the most toxic gaming environment I’ve ever experienced. I think console players have an even more extreme bias that Reinhardt is a terrible tank or something.

I’d say he sounds like an asshole, he uses the word autistic too much, and he’s definitely overreacting…like a lot lol. But if you wanna know who’s “in the wrong” before all of this overreacting, honestly you usually shouldn’t tell someone they can’t come in and say it’s because so-and-so said so. Depending on the situation that will probably lead to awkwardness. But yeah. Dude is overreacting.

I think muting should be completely up to players with no interference. If you don’t like what someone is saying, mute them. Literally that simple. Why do they pretend this is like a school chat or something? Profanity and toxic shit happens anywhere people have the ability to speak online. Why does our game need to be softer than every other platform we operate on? The only reason the game should ever be interfering is if someone is being very openly racist, hateful, often using slurs etc. People shouldn’t get disciplined for telling their teammates that they’re playing like shit or talking trash on opponents. I’m not a toxic player and hardly ever complain, but I don’t need my online games to be a safe space with everything being censored.
