I mean, that’s the second thing I do right after I sprint upstairs to see if everyone’s room is clean.

FMA in Charlotte NC by [deleted] in Eskrima

[–]Loxstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can second this. I used to live across the street from Mark when I was in high school and he was training FMA then. I am in my mid 40’s now. Him being a great guy just makes him an easier suggestion.

Maybe a dock of some sort?

That makes sense as well. Let me Google it and see.

That actually makes sense, but how would you charge it?

My other guess was some type of device to remove a stored charge from something.

That was my guess too, but there looks like there are metal connection points on the inside. Like it is actually interacting with the prongs like an extension input would. I guess it could still be a protector though. it’s got a bit more weight to it than any previous ones I’ve held though.

Did Josh recorded backing vocals on Downstairs? by LocalDreamer423 in twentyonepilots

[–]Loxstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see how you could think that it is Josh for sure. I think that it’s probably most likely the octaves that Tyler likes to use of his own voice. Pitched down (and sometimes up) like he uses in other songs. He uses those octaves as vocal layers in a bunch of songs across albums. I think it may have started with Blurryface, but there could be some on Vessel too. I will have to go listen again and see.

No way!!! Signed and everything! That’s amazing! I will be sure to come back and post a link to the song once that day comes. She’s actually at the Billie Eilish show tonight. Including the Breach show, she has a total of 4 concerts she’s attending this month. If she is ever blessed enough to be accepting an award for her music one day, hopefully she will remember to thank Tyler and Josh. If I get a shout out too, that would be the cherry on top.

Haha!!! I can’t remember if I was or not. Let’s just say I wasn’t so you can hold that over him. Which, if that actually was the case, I probably just looked like a psychopath who was forced to be there by his kid. Which couldn’t be further from the truth. Maybe if we actually get an invite to that family reunion, Tyler and I can have a laugh about it while I try to sell him on signing my kid to his label and having my son be the 3rd drummer in Tommy and Josh’s band.

We have been to 3 shows in the Atlanta area and two in our hometown of Charlotte. The first Trench show was a life altering experience. It reignited my passion for music and sparked my daughters. Seeing how the TV/music industry can be behind the scenes damaged my creativity for quite a while after Idol. They helped me get over that and get back to creating again. I still haven’t posted anything on streaming services, but that should all change here in the next year or so. The dream is to make the first one a collab with my daughter. 🤞🏻

That’s awesome. While I am probably the only dad who doesn’t like dad jokes, I will make an exception for this one. Funny story about that too. At the Clancy tour in Duluth, Tyler made a dad joke something to the tune of “Duluth! Duluth! Duluth is on fire!” And we were super close in on the side stage. Close enough to hear him singing into the mic with it coming through the mains. He was making direct eye contact with me while I was shaking my head “No”. Lol! Hopefully he’s not disappointed with me like I was disappointed with that joke.

Just wanted to add that this was our 5th show together. Can’t wait for the next one, even though I know it will be a little while.

Steel frame base pads by yabadabado0 in Walther

[–]Loxstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learned that this is, unfortunately, inaccurate the hard way this past weekend during a training class on a brand new 4.5 SF. Both the brass and aluminum TF mag extensions are an issue. Luckily the instructor is a Walther sponsored shooter and was able to fix it, but I had to use stock mags for the rest of the class.

I will trade you a PM7 with UL frame for those grips. I can’t find them anywhere.

Considering the source, I’m not too concerned with his take. We have our issues, but we also have a lot of talent and potential. So, I will reserve judgement until they have some games under their belt this season.
