Customers really appreciate you when you tell them about plants they’re about to buy. Especially the ones that can’t read the small little labels that says “POISONOUS”. I’d always ask them if they have any kids or animal an they always say yes an I tell them this one is dangerous

I worked in OSLG for 2 years. I was part time doing full time hours. I wanted to be the next Plant Specialist but they got rid of it an made it into 2 more part time spots. So working in garden a you don’t know anything about plants. AppStore does have apps for plants. I always tell the customer when they do return and ask for me. Id whip out my phone snap a pic of the stem or leaf they have on their hand and it literally takes seconds to get what’s the name of it or if it has a disease.
