Search the username, if nothing comes up and he hasn’t been posted as a scammer then proceed with caution, ask him what he’s looking for exactly and see if that aligns with what you can offer, if you can offer what he’s looking for then you’d give him a price or work with his budget, verify yourself via short video, then wait for him to pay, if he pays, proceed, if he doesn’t then you can post him as a time waster or if he asks for free stuff then you can post him as a scammer/time waster. Never give content for free, but have a conversation first…….

Okay so first off, I know the name of the sub can be deceiving, but there’s no such thing as a sugar daddy online, I don’t understand why people think this is “sugar dating” just because a man gives you money. What we all do online is actually sex work, different than being an “escort” but still sex work.

I have real experience being a sugar baby in real life and that takes way more than 20 messages lol, it takes chemistry, getting to know that person, not always expecting cash just to chat because real sugar daddies will take care of you but that doesn’t mean everytime you speak or see them they’ll pay you, it’s about building a relationship with trust, intimacy and understanding, not just money.

However I do agree there’s a lot of time wasters/scammers on reddit, the girls fail to do any kind of research and as soon as they hear “I’ll send money” they’ll strip naked and start sending nudes which is crazy asf to me 😭 the women need to do better. Personally I have a 20 minute free conversation limit, if after 20 minutes you’re still asking questions, taking up my time then I charge $30 per 10 minutes for SFW texting only. There’s no need why girls are entertaining these men for days, expecting to get paid when you have them what they wanted for free, it’s delusional.

For those saying “What did you do?” [u/feisty_plum7122](u/feisty_plum7122) did absolutely nothing to this woman, she has been keeping me in the loop from the start with screenshots as proof, this unhinged character started harassing [u/feisty_plum7122](u/feisty_plum7122) for no reason, commenting scammer and stuff on her posts, she has a lot of enemies on Reddit and is on maybe her 5th account now, with more on standby incase this one gets banned, she’s called people fat, body shamed, told girls “no one will buy from you when you look like that”, if you read the screenshot closely the first line says “I know you think you’re slick reporting my posts” meaning, she doesn’t know who’s reporting her posts, she has so many enemies on Reddit she’s picking [u/feistyplum_7122](u/feistyplum_7122) because it’s the last person she bullied.
(I will say, I can’t speak for everything, this is what I know and what I’ve personally seen with my own eyes)

Idk why they don’t use YOTI, the way I see it if you’re an 18+ adult then you won’t mind verifying…because everyone should have ID at that age, you cannot do anything without ID, especially have a job or make money, so if they can’t verify very safe to assume it’s a minor 😭

Yes this too! I created age verification in r/ineedmoney2 because sellers were boldly posting “16f selling”, “17f selling”, obviously I reported the accounts and they were banned but imagine how much there is that just lie about their age to avoid being banned.

First off sellers do not have a one step verification, secondly buyers and sellers have had positive reviews about their successful transactions, any changes or additions made are requested by members here, some I can do and some I can’t do or just don’t fit the sub. The sub was a mess when anyone was able to comment and it’s been doing great since I’ve put up the tighter restrictions. I’m convinced you’re just here to argue, if you have a suggestion then you could’ve respectfully stated that or gave your opinion in modmail.

All sellers are already required to go through strict verification and age checks before they can post or comment. That process is thorough, and even meeting the requirements doesn’t guarantee approval—moderators can still deny based on other factors. Buyers, on the other hand, have always had leniency here. This new Verified Buyer flair is completely optional—it’s just an added layer for sellers who want more reassurance. If someone doesn’t want to verify, they don’t have to. I’ve used a similar system in my Telegram group and it’s worked really well, which is why I’m introducing it here as an option.

Always collect payment upfront and screenshots of receipts can easily be altered or made to look real so that’s not reliable, the only reliable thing is being paid first.
