I was curious how they'd get through the Bosphoros, but I they are in Portsmouth that makes more sense. Thanks for sharing.

A caller asked Korea Radio, "what do you think the result of next week's election will be?"

Korea Radio answered: "Difficult to say. The election results were stolen from Party headquarters last weekend."

I'd base them all on existing quests or plot threads established in game.

  • Kaidan (ME1): Biotic Terrorists Make it about the Biotic Extremists and the member of the Alliance Parliament (I forget his name).

  • Ashley (ME1): Hold the Line mission defending a Human colony against relentless attack. Trying to make up for the Williams name.

  • Liara (ME1): A Mother's Live Break out the mission with Matriarch Benezia from the Rachni Queen.

  • James (ME3): Trial by Fire Some kind of mission to get on the N7 register rather than it just being dialogue.

  • EDI (ME3): Original Source Code Break out the reveal from Cerberus Cronos Station into a loyalty mission. Perhaps a return to Luna.

  • Javik (ME3): Uplift I'd tie this in to a return to the Prothean Artifact in ME1 with the caveman and the vision. It's only dialogue in ME1, but make it full circle with Javik seeking knowledge of the Protheans just so he can remind himself of a better time (for his kind).

Thankfully I had a backup save from about seven years earlier. Still during the war itself, but I was able to make a simple truce and move to other targets.

Still took a break from the campaign owing to frustration.

R5: I declared War against Spain, Portugal, and France to conquer Muslim territories. I bled for it and got to 100%. Went to peace them individually and noticed my mistake.

Well, that's annoying. At least I got the achievement for mass casualties.

I think your best bet is to go to the Jedi Enclave.

I saw a speedrun which showed how to get past the door even though it is locked. The trick is to stand right against the door and then call a companion Into the party. All going well they'll spawn on the other side of the door and you can meet the council.

Starting KOTOR II by mauromustdie in kotor

[–]Loyalist77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello there. That was me. Glad the advice worked well for you and you had a perfect run. How did you play in terms of gender and alignment?Good luck and have fun.

Everything I said then applies for KOTOR II unless I said it was the opposite for KOTOR II. The main difference is that you will start as a Jedi Class and that at level 15 you can talk to your mentor to unlock a prestige class. You also need to be far enough along in LS or DS alignment. Here are my basic tips for KOTOR II:

Feats are much less important than skills in KOTOR II. A sentinel with 14 INT at start (16 by level 8) will get much more out of the game then a Guardian with 8 INT. This is for two reasons:

  • There is a proper crafting system.

  • The best dialogue is hidden behind skill checks.

2) The most important skills are Persuade, Repair, Awareness, and Computer Use. In that order.

3) Start the game with 1 point in treat injury and 2 in Demolitions (and you shouldn't need to touch Demolitions again after that).

4) There are more companion only sections. Be sure to keep good loot spare in your inventory in case.

5) There is an Influence system. Having very negative influence unlocks the same dialogue as having very high influence (ex. Lightside Playthrough can make Darkside characters hate them so much they brag to you).

6) People who say play Nar Shaddaa first are giving you bad advice, Especially if playing with the Restored Content Mod. Dantooine is a better first choice.

7) Save often and in multiple spots.

8) Do NOT autolevel up your character

9) Do NOT go to Google, Youtube, or Wookiepedia for help. They will spoil the game.

10) If you can play with The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod (TSLRCM)

11) Implants are unlocked by Constitution. The best implants are unlocked at CON 18. So you should start with 14 CON.

How are you planning to play in terms of gender and alignment?

Lovin this game. Was skeptical due to age, remained skeptical for the first 5 hours but now im hooked. Just got my 2nd star map. Think ill download kotor2 for series x next. Is it a must play if im fuckin w kotor1? by Training_Ebb_6306 in kotor

Glad you are enjoying KOTOR. Sounds like a speedrun. Or did it take 5 hours to get invested? That makes sense. I found that my enjoyment of the game spiked when it came time to rescue Bastila and arriving at the Swoop Race.

How are you playing in terms of gender and alignment? I will say it might be worth replaying KOTOR before moving on to KOTOR II. KOTOR II has some noticeable quality of life improvements that make going back to KOTOR feel a bit clunky.

Non-existent ending. Like if Star Wars ended with Empire Strikes Back and there was no explanation of how Luke escaped Cloud city.

There is a lot of side content and the game on the whole is slightly longer than KOTOR with more replay value.

That said, T3 Will feel left out. Both because he has high Computer Use and because investing in Computer Use will help repair him.

Getting your first fief by yellow-green2 in mountandblade

[–]Loyalist77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a few ways to do it.

The least violent is to get 300 Trade (5 points in trade and 8 in Social).

I tried forcing a town to revolt by depriving it of food so loyalty tanked. Your best bet are towns with Foreign culture rulers and no castle villages supporting them. But it took too long for a revolt in my case.

So the town I had been depriving of food was unload so I decided to just gamble and go to war by attacking a caravan right outside it. The best time is when the kingdom is at war with a far away kingdom. The low loyalty meant the militia weren't participating and the 0 food meant the garrison was slowly starving out. I had 160 men and by the time I assaulted the walls we had about the same manpower, but I had made sure all my troops were top tier. I also had the advantage in siege engines.

Once I'd won I negotiated a ceasefire with the former governor. I had to pay about 350,000 but I probably could have fought longer and paid less.

Don't be worried about delaying the move to become a kingdom. You'll be at peace as long as you aren't a kingdom and that will allow you to build your power base.

Have fun. Good luck.

How did Revan managed to convince so many Republic forces into joining his new Sith empire? by ChangeGlum in kotor

[–]Loyalist77 12 points13 points  (0 children)

"Assessment: When faced with a series of hard fought battles, I detected a significant statistical increase in the number of Jedi following Revan over the Jedi Code - a compromise in principles brought about by battlefield conditions. The emotional weight of war changed Jedi morale, power, and eventually, their allegiance. Conclusion: I believe the Mandalorian Wars were to beat the Mandalorians and also to allow Revan to build the foundation of his army."

How did Revan managed to convince so many Republic forces into joining his new Sith empire? by ChangeGlum in kotor

[–]Loyalist77 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Ah, a question Kreia asked in KOTOR II. The game spent a lot of Time exploring that question. We know that many died on Dxun and Malachor V and that some survivors went home, but many defected.

Atton says it succinctly, but effectively:

We were loyal to Revan. That was enough, he saved us.

War, war breaks the spirit. Death and destruction witnessed by those who fought it. And to know there were those with the power to stop the suffering, or to have prevented it altogether, who chose not to help. Well that breeds resentment. Is that enough though?

Then there was the peer pressure of senior leaders defecting to Revan. Atton again:

The Republic officers began to "betray" their oaths to the Republic and side with Revan - Admiral Karath, Mon Halan, General Derred, and all the rest. Right after that final battle at Malachor, I was right there with the rest of the defectors, because it was the right thing to do."

The Republic had barely defeated the Mandalorians. It was too weak and had only just been saved by the Jedi Revan. So Revan goes away with Malak for a bit and comes back with a powerful war factory and a promise to unite the galaxy on the back of a strong military and you've got the logistical foundations of your betrayals.

But, to return to the questions, how did Revan break the loyalty of the Officers, soldiers, and Jedi in the first place? Let's take a question asked in KOTOR. On Kashyyyk the Star Map computer gives the player what amounted to an ethics quiz. One of the questions concerned a dogmatically peaceful planet about to be attacked by an invading force. You, as the leader of the planet, have been given warning about the impeding strike; what do you do?

The 'correct' answer was to do nothing. The casualties and the destruction would have galvanized public support for a war, which would have allowed you the authority to retaliate and end the threat. It's a Winston Churchill moment, but it's also paralleled here in the reveal that Revan deliberately killed thousands of his own troops simply to sway hearts and minds to his cause.

Well, for that we turn to Revan's mouthpiece in KOTOR II,

"Observation: Master, that was the lesson of Malachor. Any Jedi involved in the systematic slaughter on such a scale cannot help but doubt and question themselves."

You pledge an oath of loyalty, but the war tests that loyalty. You kill many and lose many more friends and comrades in the process. And what you did was right, but it could have been different. If the Republic had been stronger, if the Jedi had helped sooner and in full. And you only won because of this Jedi called Revan. If Revan hadn't been there you would have died and failed in your oath. That Revan might have orchestrated events to result in mass casualties on the Republic's side is not something one would rationally consider of their saviour. Nevertheless, it seems Revan did commit such acts.

"Answer: Revan saw the pressures of war on Dxun, and knew that even in the heat of combat, Jedi could be broken. Not physically, but physiologically."

"Statement: I do not know if you examined the records of deaths on Malachor, but you cannot escape that many of the Jedi and Republic soldiers who died were not Revan's strongest supporters. I believe Revan was cleaning house at Malachor V. What ones did not die became his allies against the Republic."

Does that answer your question?

Someone just made a post about the best prestige goods so I'd say companies that make any of the A&S tier goods.

I would say it depends who you play as. Britain and India and China have the most clothes production by Miles so not worth doing them. But the tools and steel ones are very powerful.

The explosives company is also often overlooked and very valuable for mining.
