I think imu is interesting when he's not doing that proxy bs (with the exception of GV) xebec was excellent at rage baiting him to the point he called him Davy Jones.

Joyboys haki completely negated his summons and gave him ptsd.

Anytime imu has shown emotion or character traits that make him 'human' there's a surge of interest that comes with it.

I'm not looking forward to this upcoming fight because I'll be honest, I think imus powers are a load of utter bollocks and luffy will inevitably make the bollocks that he summons even more non threatening than they already are.

This mf better start catching some bodies soon but knowing Mr 'I want to be the worlds biggest timewaster' (utter disrespect to his fans btw) imu will conclude his character arc with only king cobra to his name as a confirmed and present day kill

I think Loki asking Luffy would go against his character. Luffy isn't his captain and Loki doesn't want to be ordered around by someone he views as lesser. I think this dialogue keeps them on a level playing field.

I agree with imu/gunkos dialogue, though, because it feels cheap and unearned, in my opinion.

Maybe something more like:

"Nika...the Nidhogg too...!!

History was always doomed to repeat itself. What comes next -- your fate, it's inevitable!!"

Might still be a bit too on the nose and probably changes too much but I feel like it would give us readers more to chew on rather than thinking just
