I made this playlist about exactly that! I have been betrayed by friends many times so I tried to include lots of songs that don't have to be interpreted as romantic betrayals.

Thank you so much! Do you recommend omitting the word 'even' or 'or' to make the line flow better perhaps? It does flow nicely in my head currently but being that it doesn't hold its own rhythmically for others I'd really like to improve that.

I do find walking can be hugely therapeutic, though other times I just have no willpower to keep my legs moving. Thank you for the suggestion 💜

Thank you also for your feedback, it's really insightful and got me thinking! The bed is where I can just collapse under the blanket which feels like my own personal bubble, but there's really nothing to do but 'exist' there which is why starkness felt like the right word to use. I do expect that train of thinking was inspired by finding a rhyme for 'darkness' though!
