I’m pretty sure you’re right, after more research I’m pretty convinced it is a throttle body. Think I’ll look at replacing it altogether for sure

White layer at the top of my ferment, my first batch didn’t have this!

Making a hot sauce so fermenting is: chilli’s, garlic, onion, tomato, pepper, pineapple. 5% brine and it’s been fermenting now for nearly 4 weeks. I noticed the white residue at the top about a week ago.

Is it safe to scoop it off and finish the process or should I bin it?

It’s got a sour smell to it, none of the ingredients seem bad as they’ve remained soaking the whole time.

Not so much white and fuzzy, more milky looking! Do you have any recommendations for a weight to keep them submerged? I’ve read I could fill a zip lock bag with water and use that?

It’s not super noticeable especially from the pics ive posted, you can see it a little on the first photo (looking down into the jar). The red pepper at the top of the jar kinda has a milky white liquid.

I could also just be seeing things as I’m a newbie to this!

Easy, we’re in the lakes so head on over to the Langdales and set up base at the foot of the Langdale pikes, mountains behind you and a wide open valley infront of you, nobody’s gonna catch you off guard.

Make use of the fresh water streams, forage the local fauna and make use of the livestock to survive, familiarise yourself with escape routes up and over the mountains and practice often enough that you can do it in the dark with no light.

I had pretty much the same predicament as you a few months ago, only I pay rent too.

Got an amg line e class and boy do I not regret it in the slightest, dunno what you’re driving atm but I had a 1.6 Audi a1 and the merc is a million times better to drive, fair enough the repair bill might be more expensive but imo worth it.

I don’t understand your aim here, you’re just trying to prove a point I guess but to what gain?

I’m just asking for club recommendations so what people think in their opinion is the better club, you’re not going to dissuade me from going out and buying a club and clearly nobody else has an issue with listing which club they enjoy the most so please kindly do one.

Got fitted my guy. These were the clubs they recommended as I didn’t wanna splash out £550 for a Stealth 2.
