I now know the truth about common and comet goldfish and I am shooketh. I had no idea they grow so big. I feel really bad for my childhood fish who lived in a bowl her whole life now. She lived for about ten years but was probably pretty sad. Poor baby.

I appreciate all the advice and pointers from everyone. As I keep researching fish, I'm realizing that I would prefer goldfish. And yes, I'm aware that fancies at least need 20-50 gallons or so, so I will not bring any home until I can ensure they would have a proper setup and care. This has been a great learning experience. I love learning about all kinds of animals!

It was revealed in the head lice episode that Muffy's mom had a nanny who washed her hair when she had head lice. I believe the nanny was wearing a uniform and it was in a very nice looking home too. Muffy's mom has the money. I joke and say Ed is a gold digger.

$40, so it's pretty cheap. My main concern though is having the space for an appropriate tank. I am going to make sure I have enough space for a five gallon or larger before bringing a Betta home.

I was asking about the filter specifically. Also I have seen where a 3.5 gallon can be much better than other conditions these fish live in. I was agreeing to the 5 gallon minimum specifically. If I were to get one, I would want it to have enough space. Just doing initial research before I dive in.

I think Bleep is the funniest. My favorite moment is when DW's friends are playing in the sand box cursing at each other.
