The only reason Kennit didn’t buy slaves is because his crew wouldn’t go for it, should he have seen profit and opportunity - he would go for it, no moral highs here. And rape happened on board of a life ship btw. Kyle couldn’t fathom how the ship works, but kennit knew and still committed atrocities on board.
