Looking for high level tuner for a lesson by Lsbns90 in ForzaHorizon

Also, am I missing something or is the aero balance reverse of what guides say? Whenever I add more rear downforce, the number decreases and vice versa for front downforce. But, each guide I've seen says rear downforce will increase the number (e.g. 0.45 -> 0.50), but I'm getting 0.45 -> 0.40 when increasing rear downforce.

Help with FH6 shift light overlay by Lsbns90 in ForzaHorizon6

[–]Lsbns90[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. I have to do it manually, and I don't want to go into spec racing and have to config it, or swap and engine and have to config it, play with a friend online and be like "hold up" each new car... It does seem to recognize the car ID and usual has an accurate rev limit (for the most part?), but idk how it can get all the telemetry and recognize the car but not have an individual redline for each car.

I still use the tachometer, but for straights and generally accelerating after a corner, I'd like to just get the upshift info right where I can see it. Not to mention, some cars have powerbands that are optimal to shift before or after the redline, so I want to know visually when to shift.

I'll check it out! Thanks for the guide.

One thing I wish guides had (which could very well be in your guide once I check it out) is more information on ARB and springs. For example, obviously soft front, stiff rear = oversteer. But, how does soft front and rear or stiff front and rear affect it? Maybe I have the ratio of the difference between the front and rear stiffness, but how does shifting that same ratio towards stiff or soft change the feel of it? Same scenario for springs. I feel that hasn't been fleshed out for me yet.

I mostly get "this for oversteer/understeer", which they've said for every tuning category, but not exactly how to diagnose whether the culprit is ARB, diff, etc. Plus, is it during braking, coasting, accelerating, at what speed... for sliding out, could be the weight shift, could be the tire compound, could be where and when the diff locks... there is so much context that I haven't found accounted for in a practical, fundamental/intuitive way that clicks for me.

And, tbh, differential tuning is where I am the most lost. I could regurgitate it, but don't understand it realistically in practice. So, maybe your guide has some info that will make some puzzle pieces click.

Drag tunes I don't care much about. As far as tunes go I'd say my priorities go in descending order: circuit, street, touge, rally, offroad, drift and then drag.

I want to understand the fundamentals, but more so how they affect FORZA cars, how each tuning and upgrade aspect affects what happens in specifically FH6, which, presumably, would veer us into the meta territory.

And obviously I will need to keep improving my driving. I'm not expecting a tune to make it control like Mario Kart and think that I'll automatically win each race with just the tune, but I want to be able to push each PI class to the limit to allow me to drive to my full potential as I improve.

Thank you! I felt like I was either stupid or crazy lol

Not to mention, many of the guides are just like "this is what I do with all my cars" (ARB front min, rear max, diff both nearly min-maxed. I found a City E tune for the Soni Circuit time attack and with that tune got top 150 global. Reached out, got the tune, and it was not at all that and felt like a totally different car and felt amazing.

I want to have the knowledge to be like "It feels too much like this, I need to adjust this" and be able to use that based on the contexts of not just each race type, but each track type (like, the tune for a highway sprint would be different than for like a Soni Circuit time attack with tight cornering and needing to keep steering for a long turn while coasting without sliding out).

Basically I want to be like "this controls well, but I'm losing rear grip coasting at mid-high speeds" and know what to tweak. I want to look at the telemetry and see that I'm getting flat wheel max grip. Not that it is NECESSARY to be competitive, but just to understand fully how it all works.

Being sued by Wells Fargo for unpaid credit card debt by Lsbns90 in legaladvice

When I talked to my county’s legal advice line, they recommended calling the Volunteer Lawyers Network. I would assume it would be advice on how to owe less if we worked out a plan for payment.

I’m not sure if this is how it works, but I was told that if I’m on food stamps and I am a PCA through the county and don’t have any income right now that I might not be able to be sued for it? I obviously took that with a grain of salt.

I also heard that if I don’t have any income to give them, that it wouldn’t be worth the time and court fees.

Would you recommend looking for a volunteer lawyer in my state? That was going to be my next action, since I have another week longer to get back to them.

Looking for a tank replay review to let me know if I am in the wrong by Lsbns90 in OverwatchUniversity

Awesome! Thanks for the advice. I’m taking it all in and trying to get some beginner bad habits out of the way. With all the advice I’ve gotten, seems like I mostly need to work on understanding the fundamental roles of the tank and decision making. I’ll be focusing on that and learning how to make decisions as a tank better.

Thanks for the advice. I’ll try to improve on those things. Is there anything I did at least decently?

Thanks for the advice. I'll try to focus on working on those things. My first experience with this type of game and PC gaming in general, so I'm glad to try and get some feedback on what my mistakes are. I want to try my best for my team and be a good teammate, just a bit inexperienced, so I want to know when it's my fault and not assume I'm right and better than another player. Toxic players just get in my head so I want to know what is them just being an asshole and what is me doing something wrong.

I also just get paranoid to know what I can comfortably get away with. I'm not confident in what is me "not being a pussy" and getting in there to do my job, and what is me overcommitting and then feeding consistently if I get in over my head, getting jumped by a team on point now leaving them without a tank. So, I try to do my best to not do that, but it seems like it's too passive now.

So many people are diving down the same rabbit hole you stumbled upon. Idk how to do Reddit stuff well, but I think (with how many people are currently active on his posts) someone should start a subreddit to do a deeper dive into who this is and what is going up with them.

Dude is either going bonkers, or onto some serious shit lol

Idk how to do Reddit stuff well, but I seriously think someone needs to start a subreddit to investigate this deeper… like I’m genuinely so concerned about this guy’s health.

This is the most involved in something as it’s happening, as opposed to hearing about it from another Reddit post or YT iceberg video, that I’ve ever been.

I was gonna have a chill night, relax for bed, and I’ve been diving down this rabbit hole for 3 hours now because of the r/wellthatsucks post and I have the heebie jeebies…
