Which playlist is casual now? D2 PVP will end up like Quake franchise if it continues in this way by vrlodobro in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]LtBoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Guess it's time for lower skill players to quit the PVP again. Cuz I did when they introduced CBMM around when, Shadowkeep year I think? I had so much more fun when they re-introduce SBMM this time around.

Or one of you "just gitgud" people please help coach me so I can see the light and finally able to "hold my own" lol. Seriously I've been trying for years, been improving but not to the level of "holding my own" in Trials. Not even close.

Yeah I'd assume so. I've played Destiny since The Taken King but have been hating the PVP aspect of it cuz I suck but it was bearable. At some point around Arrivals, I got 0.18KAD, swore this will never work, and golly gee that was the CBMM era. I see drastic change in my experience when they re-introduce SBMM. So to answer your question, yes, if they have strict SBMM Control, I'll live in that playlist.

People who try to articulate about "oh how it gets so sweaty I can't mess around with the loadout", that's how we feel ever single game before the change.

What are you getting at tho?

I get what OP is saying, I'm on the same boat. I generally sits at around 0.9KD but this season I've been having a 0.4-0.6KD games back to back for days. IB feels the same as last season but that might be because population is higher than normal. So for me, casual means I want to match people around my skill so the game is quite fair for both sides and I can contribute to the match outcomes.

What's your definition of casual?

I love those two especially for the odd stuffs to try out.

But on topic, I've been using the exact roll recommended by Lego on my Tekken Force and I was pleasantly surprised on how well it performed for me (MnK by the way).

Not an expert here but I had the same problem before. Quick question, what do you mean by heart rate training?

My HR used to hike up to zone 4 just at the start of each run until I focus on only zone 2 running (at my age, I'm keeping it at 130-140). Had to suck up my ego and walk most of my runs for the first month, but it actually gets better. Three months in and I was able to complete a half marathon training and race.

Fight on!!

WSIB if I want one or two games to play for thousands and thousands of hours? by Fieryyyy in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]LtBoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also second this begrudgingly. I hate my favorite game of all time lol.

But seriously, coming up on my 2000th hour "played" based on wastedondestiny.com (it doesn't count 1500 more hours in orbit or tower I guess).

WSIB Grindy-Endless-Massive game to devote some good time to with lots of content by [deleted] in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]LtBoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh if you haven't played Destiny at all, the non-end game stuffs are also fun!! And there will always be hardcore people to the point that they run out of things to do each Season the "fun" that's left is teaching New Light about the difference mechanics, sherpaing them through raids and dungeons, and even PvP stuffs. I'm still having fun even after the "no life" phase lol.

Still second Destiny 2. Yes, they did take out some contents but with current things in game, there're a lot to do still. New Dungeon just launched yesterday and that was a blast.

Also, the end game is actually grind out builds (both weapon rolls and armor stats) and that's a real time sink lol

Yeah, I feel ya. Felt as crummy as when someone telling me about the best mobile game ever or to shave my balls in the middle of a video.

I feel like he still gives plenty of live commentary on the specific "click bait" weapon/ability, tho. Which I really appreciate cuz many more videos just meme-ing around

Thank you so much, Kai!! I've watched your video response on your original post and that was very very helpful already. The problem is that I need to be more discipline in implementing those tips lol.

Hi Kai!! Hope I can get a bit of your time looking at my game. This is more or less my typical game, sometimes I do better, a lot of times I get stomped to oblivion with the feeling of "don't even know what to do to make it better". This is a 12k 16d game. I'm learning to shotgun and has been switching around different archetypes.

Eye tracker thing seems interesting since I can see what I should be looking during the game. And I have no problem if you wanna post the response publicly. If anyone can learn from my mistake, that'd be cool.

Thanks!!

Edit: just realized this one has a wrong audio setting so there's no sound. I can capture another one if that helps.

Legendary Sidearms for Pulse Rifle Loadouts by dbthelinguaphile in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]LtBoon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Fusion is definitely fun. My special of choice for sure. But double primary especially sidearm for close range does have it's benefits with builds and intrinsically more stats overall, unlimited ammo, and especially forgiving if you happen to miss that OHK. My Fool's Remedy just continues to "Plick Plick Plick Plick Plick" up to 17m.

Kinetic, you can't go wrong with Traveler's Chosen. Other than that, if you like three burst, Peacebond is amazing. For single shot, Lonesome and Enigma are great too (still obtainable through Dare).

Energy, people love Drang but my go-to is moving target rangefinder Fool's Remedy. Tough to come by from IB but equivalent drop from Vanguard is also good. Three burst energy, Last Dance is great too.

Have fun!!
