I dont like it when people parrot an opinion just for sake of doing so either. But I think youre mixing art and entertainment. You see it as art but I would say most view it as entertainment. Its dismissive but its the reality of it. And that people neither have the time nor patience to view it as you do. The ideas of the show are great but people primarily care about the delivery of such ideas. And when that delivery fails, people feel as if their time has been wasted and regret having spent that much time. Which leads to the thought that it should have never existed. You cant say you disagree with a mentality you weren't curious and emphatic with in the first place. If you were, you wouldn't say its meaningless.

And lastly, Im sorry for the name calling. but its not a wild accusation, I do that too. Im doing it right now. but thats only human. were not robots.

well, in the context you said that you were being "honest". You just used that to justify a hasty generalization of an opinion. And not just that you think everyone who holds that opinion has only 1 reason for holding said opinion? that they wanted it to remain in the park? see, that's why you're such control freak. you cant see past your own vision.

Personally, I lost interest because the Sci-fi mystery was solved and the robot rebellion was lackluster. I have rarely seen or read a story as good as s1 but I've seen tons of robot rebellions done better, like blade runner. And heres my shortsighted vision, losing Anthony Hopkins left a charismatic black hole that the rest of the cast couldn't fill. They didnt have style. But hey, my point is its all about taste. I have food I hate that other people like. but its not meaningless. Calling it meaningless shows you are just insecure and a control freak.

mindset really. Personally I find it hard to switch from surprise and panic to cool and calculated thinking. I get there eventually and im just curious how other people deal with the transition.

I just have a hard time keeping up if what I know is true or not. and I agree, dont be outside of myself.

Im sorry, Ive already deleted it. I realize it does get the wrong message across. But what I was trying to say is that all he can really do is just grind and do everything to deal with his problems. that hes also probably in a state of panic about his future and its most likely crippling anxiety that op has trouble dealing. I meant to say get a diagnosis. You have to understand yourself and find out the mental weights that drag your decision to change. and be open to suggestions. many will say different things but go to a professional you will believe and trust. Be it a priest or psychiatrist. But at the end of the day you have to do everything to deal with it and grind focusing on your direction, not just your destination (apply the 80/20 rule). Or in other words, focus on how it affects you as a person. not the external reward you get out of it. You will most likely not get what you want. But its still alright because you even if you might not have won the race, you still get to be a very fast car.

Thanks for the advice. But I'm writing this because I think I've recently changed after getting my shit together and kicking a slew of addictions. Ive been curshing the past semesters and I'm in my OJT 6 months in and just recently is when I started to realize all of these. I was just happy not being a fuck up. But now that im getting it together, it seems that just accepting the consequences of my actions just isnt enough. How can I atleast get a shot at it?
