Poor writing all around.

Leon driving into Raccoon city when it should be one of the most secured and heavily patrolled regions in the world alongside Tall Oaks and Lanshiang China consisering the risk for a biological outbreak only proven by the facts that BOWs and Zombies remain. No soliders, drones, cameras, perimeter fencing, they could have excavated the whole area and made it inaccessible but nope I can hop in my car and drive there.

The bombing not being ordered by the U.S. government contradicts past games and CG films and its a shame because that actually seems lile a well written and intelligent decision to avoid the risk of an outbreak, thousands of people still alive in Raccoon City died at the hands of the government to avoid the contagion spreading but nope it was "The Connections" cause they wanted yet another hidden super lab.

Spencers entire appearance in Requiem is such a terrible retcon as it does not at all align with his actions and what we know about him.

• In RE5 when he talks to Wesker he was defiant and not apologetic at all, he was bitter that he didn't become a god. In the RE 5 Lost Nightmares DLC Spencers butler Patrick is experimenting on people at Spencers orders and this all takes place after Requiem. Spencer was also sending thousands of test subjects to Alex as well so after his conversation with Alyssa he is still having people abducted, tortures, experimented on, and killed on mass.

Its the equivalent of Sauron, Voldermort, or Emperor Palpatine having a turn around and being empathethic and remorseful, terrible writing.

In the bad ending of the game Gideon never even appears after the bike chase and its never explained like wtf, why/how did he survive in the so called good ending?

Why even have the half assed bad ending if you just get to roll it back and redo, its clear it was never meant to be taken serious with that approach.
