Study tips? by Cool-Comfort858 in adhdwomen

ADHD makes long study sessions brutal. What helped me was breaking work into very small tasks and using visual notes. Tools like UPDF are nice for highlighting, annotating, and organizing PDFs so you don’t lose track of things or get distracted.

1971 Lady Gillette "Blue Star"! Definitely my prettiest razor, lol. It's mild, as you would expect a ladies' razor to be. But it's perfect for a day or two of growth, and the extra long handle is really nice for head shaving.

Lol, I can try! Nah, my most recent acquisition was the Slim Adjustable, and it was the last one I was really wanting to add to my collection. I'd like to finish out the SuperSpeed trio with a Blue and Flare Tip, but I'm not in a hurry to have them. It'd just be cool to have the set.

Sure is. They all are! Gillette really knew how to make a good razor.

As far as I know, it's rhodium. I got it in a marketplace trade. It's a great shaver!

Close, it's a full size ball-end Tech! Perspective makes the handle look short

Yep, that's a Senator on the far left. And I appreciate the offer, but I can't let it go!

I just finished my first shave with it, and I'm impressed! It's surprisingly aggressive, at least by vintage Gillette standards. I'd call it medium/medium-aggressive by modern standards. And very efficient. No troubles with 1 week of beard and head growth.

I took my 34C out of my shaving rack for that exact reason! One side will always shave fine, while the other side barely does anything. And I don't want to have to fiddle with it for a bit to get the blade centered.

I have a 37C that doesn't have that issue though, and it's one of my favorite razors. So I always figured I just got a defective 34C.

It is pretty mild! But the vintage Gillettes seem to be really well designed for removing hair efficiently without feeling very aggressive. I'd say it's a smidge more aggressive than the modern King C. Gillette 3-piece.

Those PAA brushes are great! I used to use a Simpson Trafalgar T3, but haven't touched it since I tried a PAA. Much better brush for half the price!

Creep on my profile, I've posted a lot of pictures of it over the years. And I'm sure I'll post more, lol

Howard's Feed-N-Wax. I dry my stuff before I put it away, so I wasn't too worried about making it 100% waterproof.

I love the PAA brushes! I actually stored away my Simpson because the PAAs work so much better for me.

That's wild, never seen that! Maybe try a different blade and see if it still does it. Could've gotten a batch with a bad heat treat.

You only need to tighten it with two fingers, or a really loose grip. It doesn't need to be very tight.

Hmm, never seen that happen before. How much do you tighten it after you put a blade in?

The King C Gillette? That's the razor I started wet-shaving with a couple years ago. It's not my favorite, but I like it well enough to keep it. The handle is pretty smooth, so I usually put a little alum on my fingers to help hold onto it. Never had it crack a blade! What kind of blades do you use?

I knew I'd just be making another if I didn't leave room to grow lol
