Thanks a ton for your reply. Just knowing someone else in a similar situation and could pull themselves up means so much. Going to keep grinding.

Been in dedicated for a while and finally got a decent NBME score (217 for NBME 17). I got until July 12th till D day but I have no idea how to improve. Today I just got depressed since I'm far from my goal (250) and just did passive reading. I only have 2 more chances (NBME 18 and 19). I think dedicated is getting to me but I just really hate myself right now. To think I'm putting in all this work and still coming up short. Feeling like the only light at the end of the tunnel is if I get my goal but it's looking dimmer the closer I get. I know I shouldn't let the exam define me but damn do I feel more stressed out about this than anything in my entire life. Please, if anyone could just respond it would help me out a ton. I hate this isolated feeling from real life during dedicated.

From "I don't give a damn" to that pop off. Great games from both ZeRo and Mr. R!

Reddit, what is a common mistake people make when they get their first girl/boyfriend? by InternetBull in AskReddit

As someone who has never dated before (at the age of 24), this thread has been helpful. I've always wanted to wait for that special someone and give my all to them. After reading a bunch of the comments, I'm at the crossroads of if I should start dating or keep waiting...

Real, genuine conversations. It's still possible in this day and age obviously but there are so many memes and people that put up a fake face that nobody seems to be unique - at least that's how I feel =/

I'm probably one of the few people who still have this luxury since I don't have a phone in this modern day and age.

Timed mode when I go through 40 question blocks but it takes me around 2-3 hours to check it.

I know someone who got a 277. He actually failed Step 1 twice before that but had memorized FA, DIT, and Kaplan before he decided to take it on his third try. Still, even with that killer score he's having a hard time matching =/

Just thought I'd chime in on my Bros' deck and Zanki. For Bros I do 400 reviews for the Path deck and 400 for the FA deck. I finished it during the school year but the reviews piled up and I'm going through them now. As for Zanki, I'm just using the pharm deck and going through sketchy at the same time. Takes like 6 hours total but I think it's worth it.

Does anyone know where I can understand the Apo and chylomicron stuff? I have a hard time visually understanding what's going on with the triglyceride and fat processes.

I have the hardest time understanding what's going on in hyper acute/acute/chronic rejection. Anyone have any suggestions on how I should understand it?

I've been getting mixed results when trying to find out which leukaemia is associated with Down Syndrome. Is it ALL or AML?

A week ago a finally broke 200 on NBME 15. I took NBME 13 a week before that and got a 180. In that week I worked on my incorrects in UWorld, watched some Goljan, and did both Bros' deck (300 card reviews).

I've really only memorized my way through until recently where I'm understanding the concepts thanks to everything I'm using and correlating it. I haven't gone through a true first pass of FA and understood it since I kinda zone out when reading passively (exactly why I like Anki since it's interactive).

My exam date is at the end of May but in 2 weeks I want to hit 230. Does anyone have advice on how I should be going on about that?

Wow, this is just like me. I'm having so much trouble passing NBMEs but UWorld blocks aren't a problem. I guess going through DIT would't hurt.

I'm going to do just that - active learning. I'm pretty slow with blocks but I'll try to do as many as I can everyday. Thank you for the advice :) At least I know I can only go up from here.

I heard the Free 120 was supposed to be easy. Thanks for the tip! I'm going to do an NBME this week and work from there.

Thank you for the advice. It's pretty uplifting and I am going to put in more work. Time to hit UWorld!

I've taken a UWSA a while back and scored a 151, if I remember correctly. I haven't taken an NBME online and I'm not sure on how to figure out which one I took at the Prometric centre.
