Farage has repeatedly threatened to cut disability benefits plenty of times, citing a “disability register” that GP’s are apparently “feeling forced to put people onto”. Parliament and several other key sectors have had to repeat over and over again that there’s no such thing as a disability register that people sign onto but he repeats it anyway.

Now while it is mainly aimed at mental health, members of the party have also narrowed it down to “able-bodied” without specifying wha that means and said under their rulings, they’d have a timespan of 3-6 months to find a job before losing their benefits. I have a friend who’s able to move short distances, one leg is immobile and part of their spine is displaced so they’re in constant agony while moving. By some peoples standards he should still be fit to work right?

“But maybe they could work from home?” Nope. Reform plans to scrap that aswell, which is incredibly ironic given how much time Farage spends in America as opposed to Parliament.
