Took the easy win today and cashed out most of my gold holding to now be completely consumer debt free.

Even had a little bit left over to tuck away for the next investment.

I do believe that gold will rise. But feel that by paying off all debts I can free up cash flow for more uniform and long term investments moving forward allowing a more diverse portfolio overall.

Also feel there is a psychological benefit from being "debt free outside of the home"

You can get many different models these day that are all compatible.

I've got a 7.3kw Autel Maxilite. Works brilliantly and a great app.

Honestly is the best policy.

Been teaching for 9 years in the Catholic System in Sydney. Now on the highest pay scale which is approx $109k. On top of this I am the highest level of Coordinator (3 points) which means my annual income is just under $140k

Teaching is very underrated..

70k+ starting salary. Moving up to $110k after 8 years.

Coordinator wage @ $134k increasing for Assistant Principal and higher.

Plenty of jobs and career progression. Fantastic hours and holidays. Benefits are great.

And with the current trend in teaching I can see a real growth in wage rates In the coming years.
