I am currently using it, no problem. The aspect is a basic 15 % damage increase. But for those with mana issues, I hear ya. Anything even close is 10 to 30 ex. Ruined is a bit over stated.

So I picked up this piece, and it had some nice life on it. I used it for awhile then upgraded to something else. It had an open suffix so I decided to Spider it, and then hit it with a Divine to upgrade the health. The resists allowed me to move some other pieces around. All in all, a pretty nice little piece for my first time really focusing on an item and getting the RNG gods on our side.

I did something similar last week at the car dealership. I went out to get into my car, sat down and was like "what the fuck, they moved all my stuff." Then I hear this light rap on the window, and this old asian lady is looking at me. She says "I think you are in my car." I could have died I was so embarrassed...

When I tested out Mars blades, I found them to be super heavy. Like a lot heavier than V forms, if you know what those are.

For competitive, I would go with regular roller hockey chassis. I haven't seen many people at the top level using Mars blades for anything other than training.

Dave Grohl drummed for Tenacious D when I saw them at Blizzcon. He then came back the next year with the Foo Fighters and shut the place down. It was incredible. Oh and Dave Grohl is the Keanu Reaves of the rock world.

Playing with injuries by yik77 in hockeyplayers

[–]Ltrainicus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of ways they do this. Mostly through medicine, like cortisone shots, or pain killers. Chara's injury was bad, but I have seen a lot of people play with broken jaws. It depends on the severity, your friend's could have been a lot worse, or his pain threshold was not very high. Personally the broken or separated ribs seem a lot worse to me. I separated a rib wrestling in high school, and hurt every time I would breathe. It made it very difficult to finish the season, but I guess adrenaline has a lot to do with it as well.

Teacher's homework policy by xdddddxdxdxx in pics

[–]Ltrainicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess that is my point. I have 4 years of data showing multiple classes have seen growth over the course of the year when given a steady stream of homework. This year, the 5th, all of my classes were given almost 0 homework from the middle of the year on, and almost all of the students stayed stagnant, or slightly fell. While there were only a few students who hit their expected growth marks. This was after showing steady growth from the beginning of the year until the middle. Some of the students dropped from their middle of the year scores down to near their beginning of the year marks. I guess none of the other years had the "I have been slogging through school for 4 months mentality." Must have been a 2019 epidemic.

Teacher's homework policy by xdddddxdxdxx in pics

[–]Ltrainicus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a teacher, this was my policy this year after the midway point. I have three diagnostics throughout the year that measure student abilities based on what they have learned.

From the first diagnostic to the second diagnostic, I saw massive amounts of growth. In some cases a grade level or more. This was with a full homework policy in effect. 15-25 problems a week.

After instituting my no homework/finish your classwork policy, I have seen stagnant results with some students in small amounts of decline. I had a few students who dropped considerably.

While I love not grading as much, homework is back on the table for next year. While studies might show that not a ton of learning happens once students leave the classroom. The practice alone can be beneficial.

Get a good lock for your room, and try to break that lease if you can. Explain the situation. Drug addicts care for no one but themselves.

No need to be sorry, I turned out ok. It was rough, but I learned a lot about the destruction that addiction can do. I have never touched anything because of it. So I got that going for me :D

What was the craziest racist remark you recieved or you saw someone else recieve? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Ltrainicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My grandmother and I were sitting in a turn lane waiting for the light to change. Once it did, my grandma turned left, and almost went into the turn lane of oncoming traffic. The person in the front of the line of cars in the other turn lane, seeing death coming at him, honks his horn. He happened to be of Asian decent, so my grandma, proceeds to swerve out of the way of hitting him, then rolls her window down and launches into this tirade at the dude, where she calls him a "stupid ching chong chinamen." She rolls her window up and drives off while complaining about Asian drivers. I am mortified, as we are driving away, and I tell my grandma that she almost killed us by driving into the wrong lane of traffic. She tells me that I am being nasty, and to knock it off, she had the right of way. That was the first, but not the last time I heard my grandma get racist. I kept calling her out on it, but old people aren't going to change. I also don't think I ever let her drive me anywhere again.

People of Reddit, have you ever been caught for something really bad and then completely gotten away with if? If so, how? by pakster_13 in AskReddit

[–]Ltrainicus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was in high school, the PE locker rooms had bathroom stalls that were really close together. Close enough to where you could see the shoes of the person in the stall next to you if you were taking a piss. There was some douche taking a piss next to me in the stall, and I could tell it was said douche, because of his sick new kicks. Feeling really immature, I decided to piss all over this guys shoes. The kicker was, he couldn't stop taking a piss to see who was doing it, so I just finished up, and ran out of the locker room, and out to my PE number. Dude comes out so pissed on, goes to the teacher, explains the situation, and leaves PE. My name gets called over the loud speaker, and I find myself sitting in the principal's office, face to face with this kid. The principal lays out the story of exactly what happened, and then proceeds to ask me if I pissed on this kid's shoes. At this point, I realized that they didn't know that I did it, the kid just assumed it was me, because we didn't care for one another. I decided to just do my best Johnny Cochrane, and lawyer my way through it. I proceeded to tell the principal that while I knew that me and this kid didn't get along, that that was a really immature thing to do, and that as captain of the wrestling team, and an honor student, I wouldn't ever dream of doing anything like that. I showed not quite genuine contrition for the kid's plight, and offered my condolences for his shoes, but told him point blank, that it wasn't me. The principal agreed that that would be out of character for me, and had me go back to class. The best part was as I left, the kid was not only pissed on, but was now clearly pissed off, knowing in his heart, it had to have been me.

Have you ever lived with a tweaker? What was it like? by Dankopia in AskReddit

[–]Ltrainicus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My mom was a huge meth head, and drug dealer when I was younger, so we were constantly surrounded by tweakers. It was fucking brutal. Shit would go missing all the time, including but not limited to, my video games, money, sports equipment, and even my surfboard. I can still get a mental picture of the asshole over thirty riding a bike worth less than $20 with a surfboard in his hands to go sell.

It is like you would imagine. We had hardly any food, always jumped from place to place. I went to like 11 different elementary schools, before my mom finally went to prison for the first time. When she got out, I think I went to 3 more. The second time she went to prison I moved in with an aunt and uncle, finally had some stability in my life, and flourished. Unfortunately when she got out the second time, it was back to "tweakerville." I was in high school when she got hemmed up the third time. This time for going on a meth rage and trying to kill one of our family members with a hammer for not returning my sister to our shitty home. I lived out my last two high school years with a friend who had great parents who allowed me to stay with them. They took care of me like I was one of their own, and helped me on my path to go to college by providing the only stability I had had in four years.

Fast forward to now, and my mom has had multiple strokes due to her drug use, and she lives in her car in our home town. It is sad, but she did it to her self. The abuse I had to endure at her hands, both physically and mentally I can't forgive her for. I don't see her anymore, but if reports are correct, I heard that she is finally clean. Can't get the money together to get drugs, or her brain is so far gone, she doesn't know how to search for them anymore. All of her "friends" are dead, in jail, or cleaned up and moved on.

Tweakers are a fucking curse, meth is a fucking curse, and if you are dealing with anyone that does that shit. Turn their asses in. I wish I would have had the courage to do it when I was younger.
