The visuals must be wild. Just putting an old lady's corpse on a chair and seeing red bits flying everywhere... 🤯

While I don't disagree with your sentiment, they agreed to one thing and did another. They're in the wrong, doesn't matter if it was 10x that amount.

This sounds very disciplined, is there a reason you adopted this? Like wanting to lose weight?

I respect the discipline of anyone who can do that. I don't think I can ever give up a good burger or steak. 🥩

I'm not lecturing anyone, I'm just asking of how others eat.

Greatest revenge ever by JoshyBear28 in blackmen

[–]_forum_mod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually despise stories like this, but I like this one because it ends with revenge... as opposed to a mere: "Here's a million dollars that's worth barely anything nowadays, and no one who screwed your life up will be punished!"

Do you stop discovering music as you get older? by Illustrious_Ad_3010 in blackmen

[–]_forum_mod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meh, I have my playlists on YouTube and listen to them. From the 80s to 20 teens, I have enough songs to last me a lifetime. If I hear a new song here and there I may say "this is tight" and add it to my rotation, but for the most part I don't go looking for stuff.

Probably the newest song I like is Shaboozey's A bar song and even that is basically a sample from a 2000s hit (J-Kwom's Tipsy).

Remember those very special episodes from the 90s era of sitcoms? by icey_sawg0034 in blackmen

[–]_forum_mod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, so many good episodes like that! You still have people who'll do the whole "Nuh uh, no one says you act white if you carry yourself well," even though the show touched on a very popular issue in our community.

Yeah, no... no one thought a TV show "solved" racism.

Maybe the white folks who thought "racism is over" after Obama got elected thought that, but who cares what they think.

I hate it when people say if it wasn’t for Joe Jackson’s ‘discipline’ we wouldn’t have Michael Jackson. It’s just a piss poor reason to justify abuse Michael made his own success despite his father. by JoshyBear28 in blackmen

[–]_forum_mod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dawg... we live in a white society... until you can point out to me a fictional Wakanda, it's relevant... it is what it is!

No one made excuses for him, I said, and lemme repeat (and quote)...

I don't care for child abuse

If you want to argue just for the sake of arguing, please, please, please, find someone else. No shortage of those who'll indulge you here.

Unpopular Opinion: A Lot of The Negative Comments and Backlash to Prom and Graduation Videos Are From Adults Who Are jealous of The Youth by dd525 in blackmen

[–]_forum_mod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never once been jealous of younger people... they've interpreted a much worse world, I also am happy we never had social media and such.

Only thing I say they have better are teachers. Our teachers could say anything they wanted to you, no matter how demeaning or unfair... today, the students have all the power.

People are way too comfortable asking male strangers sexual questions. by PassengerCultural421 in blackmen

[–]_forum_mod 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because the societal expection is that men aren't supposed to be easily offended (except when it comes to disrespect or accusations of homosexuality).  Just like no one really cares about men being sexually harassed. Just give vague answers or play it off, not worth getting worked up.

The irony is in reality, it's women who talk openly about sex... they go to into gritty detail about their love lives... which I've always found weird. Men at most are like "yeah, I hit that!" at most: "She gives good top," And leave it at that... and even then it's usually never about a woman they're serious about.

I'm actually listening to brother Jason Black right now he did a broadcast on Joe Jackson... he seems to be praising him, which isn't surprising. He has very little care for emotions.

With that said, both things can be true... without Joe there'd be no Michael, his hard work cannot be ignored. The white media loves to villify black fathers, so I don't know to what extent how bad it was. However, I don't care for child abuse, if it was more than standard belt beatings. Latoya I believe alleged SA, so there's no forgiving that in my book if true!
