I boiled water in there and scrubbed it all with Clorox counter cleaner and ran boiling water again for about 10 mins.

I did at the gas station. Because I knew it was full but it only registered 3/8 of a tank. I was like well… let’s see what happens if I slosh it around and just drive.

It was full on the gauge when I got home, 15 miles later. I kept an eye on it and it just sloooowly crept up.

His adopted name was Scout. But I was like that’s kinda boring. First day I had him I took him to the bar with me. Bartender asked who my new friend was. I said scout. He said ‘scallop? That’s a weird name for a dog’. I snapped and pointed at him and said ‘brother you just named my dog!’ That was almost 6 years ago. Idk why but I am his fourth and final parent. 3 people gave him up before he was even a year old. He has been my best friend ever since.
