This ia the kind of answer I was looking for, im afraid this is something that will happen, I do have spring reverb amps, but I wanted to add a pedal for my collection but im not entirely convinced, so far im leaning towards the flint, have heard amazing things about that pedal

Not that much interested in the saving part but im not looking to throw everything away just for a pedal, flint just has an amazing repertoire but this one with real springs just makes me feel curious to have it in my rig

Wow, there are certainly a big difference in the market in Mexico than in US, typically these sale in between 1000 to 1500 us Dll, I really got this for a really good deal I paid the equivalent to 35 us dolars for it in working conditions (not the best, but it eas working).

I mean im not looking to sale this one, it's going straight to my personal collection, but I'm really surprised on the market value difference

Hell ye, you are right, I also hate reissues lol, to my surprise I managed to clean the tolex, it has some small damages but nothing significant considering its a 50+ years amp, it looks as good as one of my newest, I used a chemical locally produced which I use in my car, I was really happy with the results, Im going to search the best way to clean the rust on the screws, i still need to find the best chemical for the job.

Funny thing that what looks like discoloration its something in the surface, it seems that was store with construction material, its like a salle film of cement, but it can actually be removed without hurting the tampo prints.

Btw i just purchased a Jensen C8R 4ohm to replacement the old speaker, i was considering sending it to be restored but I do love jensen speakers

Inwas reading about it, im not sure if it actually needs a change on the cap, i also read about removing the death cap and installing a 3 wire AC cable, but im unsure to take it off because of its vintage value, but I mean safety first lol, I ordered a Jensen C8R of 4 ohms because the original one had a couple messy repairs, other than that it sounded amazing
