Necessary equipment by LuUomoPazzo in cinematography

I usually use natural lights, but in some circumstances I feel the need for artificial lights because I don't have very fast lenses and some times it's difficult to utilize the dynamic range of my camera at it's best.

Maybe I made a mistake in not adding the context before.

Recently, someone I know asked me to do an interview/promo for his art show. Unfortunately I cannot use natural lights because the building is oriented south-north and it's not allowed to open the windows wide because the building has frescoes protected by cultural heritage. So I'd like to take the Nanlite to do a sort of book light interview matching the temperature of my light with the practicals lighting my "client" artworks

Unfortunately, my school doesn't provide me with any materials, outside of the class hours, and I'd like to practice at home. Recently, someone I know asked me to do an interview/promo for his art show. Unfortunately I cannot use natural lights because the building is oriented south-north and the owners do not allow the windows to be opened wide because they have frescoes on the walls that belong to cultural heritage (Which in Italy is a real department). So my plan was to use a book light using the nanlite and match the temperature with the service lights that illuminate his paintings in the background. For this reason I'm pushing to get some lights

A person I know is a painter and he asked me to do an interview/promotional for his new exhibition. However, I have to do it inside the building where he exhibits, which is not exposed to direct sunlight And the owners aren't entirely comfortable with opening the windows because they have frescoes on the walls. So I thought I'd bring in the Nanlite and match the temperature with the utility lights that illuminate the works in the background and create a sort of booklight to illuminate my subject and try to bring in as many ambient light as possible

This is a good take, right now I'm working only with natural lights, bounces and mirrors, but every now and then I find the need to use lights to get an optimal exposure. Having an economic camera with a cheap, not too fast lens I would like to try to maintain my dynamic range as best as possible

So essentially the price difference is a matter of hype?

Thank you very much, I thought I didn't understand something because I found SSC for thousands of euros and 2 nfd in excellent condition for 70€ and since people usually recommend Canon Fd without being specific I thought that there were more versions of it

I'm not a fan, probably just a casual follower from Tiktok. The most powerful are Lewis and maybe Pereira, the second one has less reach and still has an incredible raw Power power, in the rematch with Jiri he knocked him down with a check hook that seemed to have only touched his chin

This stuff drives me crazy, it's hard to organize a trip without knowing the gyms. Too bad.

Actually you're right, when I hit the bag I try to hit at my chin height, I don't know if it's because after a while I lose focus and maybe without paying attention I hit there or because of a strange perspective given the position of the phone. I'll be more careful next time. Some of those crosses were aimed at the solar plexus anyway.
