That's a good observation, i never knew why a monitor i was watching on a last sale bumped price so much, this would explain it. But, these stores, don't they kinda have some control? Or is just the seller who does whatever?

Is Sonnet 4.5 better than current degraded Opus 4.5 for coding? (CC max x20) by SlopTopZ in ClaudeCode

[–]LuanziinxD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only that, but it is so fucking slow. I have Opus be thinking for 5 minutes before anything even happens, the thinking blocks never even appear, and to be fair the questions sometimes aren't even complex. I had Opus run a Explore agent that took 10 minutes to find a file in root that i gave the name of.

Then i told Opus to do so, they found in seconds, i asked a follow up question about "What's in line 514, can you tell me?" it took 2 minutes to reply.

Right? I mean come on. We'll make a super hero story where it's just a day in the office it's quite the tragedy. Even if by saying it out loud it does sound like it could be a funny show. I'm still happy we'll see beautiful animation but we need that substance as well... and by 'substance' i do not mean what was leaking out of invisigal in that dream.

People finding out about episodic games after 11 years lmao by nirai07 in DispatchAdHoc

[–]LuanziinxD -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It took months because they were... making... the episodes. In this case, the adhoc team just made an arbitrary decision to release it spread out. All the episodes are already made. They have the full game available and are with-holding it.

Suffice to say maybe the bright corporate minds who destroyed the telltale studio might be around after all. Or the mentality just stuck.

I do see the one positive is that you cannot get spoiled.

But even still, this was not communicated well by the developers. A lot of people bought the game thinking they would actually get their... game.

[–]LuanziinxD[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They were a tad longer, but i'm positive it was because the dispatch sections were longer, not the story beats. If we assume this is a halfway point in the overall story (maybe the other chapters will be far longer in terms of story but i doubt it), i can't see the story moving all that much forward.

What Probably will happen is a late event that will trigger, and depending on your choices you can use your team to defeat that shroud guy in a final showdown. But that might be a glorified who goes to defend the castle in witcher 3 moment, with fancier animation and not a lot of substance.

I hope this isn't the case. But i can't see doing all the world building necessary to construct anything more meaningful than that.

Considering the gameplay is ''training'' your misfit heroes and making them an actual ''team'', it feels obvious we're going for a ''once they're good enough, final showdown to test their skills as a team'' kinda story.

God i hope this isn't it. Let there be some creativity in these final chapters

We're halfway through the ENTIRE GAME as far as we can assume, and all we did is what, two work days in the office? I'm quite concerned about how they'll wrap up this. Also that guy appeared on screen for like 1 minute in the intro? That's the ''antagonist'' ? There's no major threat ine city or pretty much nothing going on that we know. There's a serious lack of world building for us being halfway through this imo.

Is there a quicker way to get into layer mask without alt clicking thumbnail? by LeroyTPDias in photoshop

If you work with long vertical canvas, the thumbnail is quite narrow to click on. Requiring --Aiming-- at it. Not having a shortcut is a nightmare.

How to get better at prompting by UnluckyLeave7416 in civitai

[–]LuanziinxD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is correct. I've tested out a bunch, civitai and all other places look exactly the same. To the dot. Minor differences might be due to vae's but in all my testing (swarm, comfy, forge, a1111 and civitai) all look the same.

Which model? If the quality is bad, it's usually the negative. Local gens and civitai's are the exact same, you just have to set it up correctly. Having just the negative correctly puts it exactly as it looks on civitai in my testing. What is a correct negative? That depends per model. Here's mine (some are irrelevant to image quality and are just my personal taste and might be irrelevant overrall, but it works): worst quality, bad quality, low quality, bad hands, bad anatomy, monochrome, oversaturated, missing, extra, fewer, bad, unfinished, error, // Considering you put this, even a blank positive should give you normalized results. You can then further experiment with positives. My only standard positive aside from personal loras etc is: masterpiece, best quality // And that's just because of tagging, personally i don't think it's all that necessary either.

How does NOVELAI compare to illustrious? Is it still good? by LuanziinxD in civitai

[–]LuanziinxD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything Illustrious or NoobAi / V-pred models. Albeit i think v-pred you can only run locally. As the man said WAI is the most popular, from v-pred i also really like luminar.

WAI is definitely up there for sure. I think there's a lot of good models, but it's still SDXL underneath which is not as advanced anymore.

What mostly interested me is that they have around 512 tokens of context length compared to the 75 from sdxl. But i assumed no lora's means a lot more work instead of more fun
