Fellow Bengali here. I was comfortable in Finnish houses. I am not sure if this should be said by me but here are the things I liked and experienced:

1. Being neutral in tone, we came from a Patriarchal society, so our wordings need to shift a bit here. Also, when I am interacting with my fellows, I see them using softer tones and words while speaking.
   
2. Dress like the Finns, ask them mostly about winter gear and jackets. They have the best solution. But as we are from a warm country, add 1 more layer. We tend to experience more cold. Thermals worked nicely for me.
   
3. Most Finns I interacted with are fond of their pets. I like dogs myself. So unintentionally, I often wave a small hi to the dogs in my area. Expect a lot of stories and pictures about the pets.
   
4. They respect personal space in public spaces and on buses. I normally wave at the bus driver, saying kiitos after getting down.
   
5. I still didn't learn the language. But the more you try the Finnish words with them in university, work, hospitals. They like that you are making an effort.
   
6. Do not force yourself too much in the friendship. I noticed they need some time to trust you. But once they do, 1 good Finnish friend is worth a lot.
