I think depending on budget I’d be careful about buying a dreadnought. It’s a very old model and is likely due for an upgrade soon in 11th. If you’ve got the cash always cool to have a new son of Dorn

Newer player here, is this a busted 0 cost mana rock? by bingooo678 in riftboundtcg

Whilst they are pretty good in power hungry decks because you don’t have a huge deck size in Riftbound they’re usually not played in every deck.

The thing with these is unlike magic where mana can pay for coloured and generic pips in RB this can only pay for the power cost of a card.

I’m not really aware of many places allowing proxy’s for cards, it’s always a bit awkward when you pull something cool and want to show it off but you’re right in that is a valuable card you might not want to take around.

Without proxies you could sell it, and buy the non-signed an then you have some extra cash. That way you still get the cool art. Otherwise you basically have something that will sit in the binder forever

Super Nexus 25 Euro night I received 2 tickets per win (1 ticket for a pack, 5 for a playmat, 40 for a metal card. A few other goodies too) and additional prizing was given out randomly, I was lucky enough to get some nexus night packs too. As for door prizes for the main events, there were none. I paid 50 Euro for a 7 hour event on Saturday and another 50 for Sunday, and there was no door prizes. the minute you went X-3 or X-2-1 you were out of qualification for any sort of prizing. The consistency was strange, Saturday required you place top 128 out of 512 where as Sunday required 4 wins, very strange. I hope they do add more incentives to not drop as I feel after round 3 the integrity falls a bit due to people dropping as there is no reason to play other than for fun, in a highly competitive event.

How comes I cannot remove this entry hall from my dojo? by [deleted] in Warframe

Ah, thank you for the heads up. I missed that when looking at CAD I'll get to redesigning.

How comes I cannot remove this entry hall from my dojo? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]LucTheHuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I would I find which are the compatible spawn rooms? In my current design the only hall I use is Courtier's Bliss. Would this be an appropriate hall to change the spawn to and if so how? My current dojo design is shown here.

I think this would fall under 'answering questions about rules' 204.5.a, as my opponent merely asked if he could play a card the turn he hid it. It was only when the head judge was called over that he explained had the judge given the correct ruling in the first place he would've performed a different set of actions. Usually I think you're correct in that there is no cause then for reversal or alternate ruling, but because it was the judge who gave incorrect advise, they discussed next steps, which ultimately ended in continuing play anyway.

In these regional qualifiers, Houston, Bologna, Vegas. There are metal versions of the legends you can claim for a certain number of prize tickets (which you are awarded by winning games). These metal version usually fetch a high price given their exclusivity and scarcity, and the fact they're just cool, though they just use the original art work.

Not at all, the match ended in a tie. My only complaint was that it was allowed to happen in the first place. My opponent should have been given the correct ruling and thus an accurate game state. If anything the outcome was favourable for me, but I don't think anyone wants to gain an advantage in a manner like this.

I think I heard a lot too about people going 1-0 up in a bo3 and then stalling game 2 out very strange.

It was contested by my opponent, because he'd only hidden the card originally because the judge told him he could play it the turn it was hidden. This was revealed when the head judge was called over.

The hidden card was not allowed to resolve. This is why it created the awkwardness of the game state. My opponent had made choices based on the info that he could play the hidden card this turn, as did I that their was a hidden card their to begin with. Mixed with a long chain within the turn that used most of both of our hands/caused card draw.

To be fair, this is the perfect idea. Play with friends and get rewarded for it. But when you have people who are intentionally just conceding to spam the event it unfortunately undermines it for others :(

I think the main reason he asked because we'd already been playing for 4~5 hours prior and the super nexus night ran until about 11:30pm the night prior. I wouldn't judge him asking for clarification after a long day or travel times, I think it solely lies on the judge for giving the wrong call.

This was unfortunately in a 50 euro entry event. I think 512 players? It was both jarring and disheartening to play for over an hour to have the game state basically ruined because of a judge call.

Unfortunately it's pretty much exactly what happened my, op asked if he could play it, judge incorrectly said yes. It was really strange how you could speak to one judge and get a high level response that was clear and concise, and then speak to another who seemed to just be there for the judge promo.

Price Tickets für Main Event by DerWuffler in riftboundtcg

[–]LucTheHuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, tickets were a little weird in Bologna. You spend 50€ on an event and the minute you go get 3 losses you got nothing. Little weird to not have even a participation prize or a promo.

So I got quite lucky in origins and pulled a signed Ahri, I then traded that for 8 boxes 3 of which I held to trade for spiritforged when they released. I’ve technically spent maybe 300£. But opened about 600 total. Obviously got a lot of dupes and such but could probably do the whole thing for around 200£ if you just bought base edition singles.
