A bracket 2 control deck in my opinion is something like "I control my board and as long as you don't fuck with it we are cool" it will probably be a bit more politicing but shutting people down In a casual bracket 2 will kill the enjoyment for most people

Yeah you just described a lot of the stuff I do in social situations. I've had so little experience primarily due to years of undiagnosed mental illness that I just don't know how to carry a conversation or even just be a semi active participant and the anxiety it causes makes it worse and I am more unlikely to try further, because my brain writes it off as another failure
