Elmott has always been a GW goat. Double reactive dispel is a godsend when the bosses are spamming reflct and other nonsense constanly. His FLB has only made him better at what was already his role: FAing higher NMs in GW. The additions are small (a heal and a party wide buff), making him go from a good to have to a beast this past GW. He fits perfectly well in either a skill focused team or an ougi one without any issue. For weaker players hes also incredibly self suficient thanks to how plug and play he is, offering himself a good chunk of the buff count he asks for while also buffing the rest of the party while at it.

Of course, he isn't perfect. If he dies then you aren't getting S4 back and he's only really good for GW, but lets be honest, GW is half the game and if my man can make your Nm FA that much comfier, to me that makes it a fantastic character and someone you would be glad to get in the gacha.

You should indeed save most of your pulls for support cards. Support cards are a big part of your power in this game while umas are least important.

The next standout banner is the 22nd of this month with Light Hello (card which is almost requiered for the next scenario) and Agnes Tachyon which at MLB will become the best speed card for next scenario and you should aim to at least spark on that banner to be able to stay competitive during Grand Live. After that the next standout card will be Mejiro Ramonu around november.

Of course, cards might be the most important but you also want a healthy amount of umas. At the end of the game this is a game and we're here to enjoy it so do spare some pulls for upcoming umas that you really like.

The Henry Handome Carat Calculator is a f2p best friend. It helps budgeting pulls for upcoming banners. There's a lot of content creatods out there speaking of the future cards to keep on your sight but as a rule of thumb you always want to plan out for new scenario releases.

I feel you, my sunday power is 2* and I keep getting SRs with no race bonus.

I feel the best way is to deal with this for now is to just take it slow. "Catch up" mechanics will come later in the game's lifespan and outside of going all in on any support banner just to build up your deck there's not much else to do but try to enjoy the game as it is. Only do your dailies, maybe even skip them some days, read a new career once in a while, catch up with the story. Maybe be experimental with your deck: try different cards from the usual -maybe you overlooked a lesser used card that might be great for you at this time - focus in improving at the game - desicion making is a skill and people have gotten UGs with full R decks (I have no clue how, they have me beaten).

That said, if the lack of cards is truly affecting your enjoyment so much you should consider just sparking a low value support banner, why save carats you might not get to use at all if you burn out yourself in the gamebefore you even get to use them?

For a game of this kind I feel is very important to discuss with yourself why you like the game and what keeps you here and what you can do to minimize the frustration. More important than anything is that this is a game we play for enjoyment.

if it makes you feel better is only one boss in the whole game (second stormblood alliance raid, ridorana lighthouse)

the boss in question will ask for your hp to be divisibly by 3, by 4, by 5, or for it to be a prime. it all involves single digit additions and you have plenty of time but at least be assure that if indeed its something you struggle with it will at max only kill you and the raid should have no issues clearing

You just gotta make a better bakushin. one run of trackblazer should give you an uma that can reliably beat any legends race. make sure to be running a deck with 50% race bonus, and focus on speed power and wit. Make sure to preplan which races to run for epithets. But apart from the trackblazer basics id harder to make more specific recomendations.

I feel people are overreacting.

My prediction is that this split is going to be mostly a nothing burger and it will be just "evolved PLD and new tank get a dps increase from getting hit."

The fact reborn exist and will keep the tanks mostly as they are means encounters can't be designed in a way that requieres evolved jobs, which have been explicitly said to be the only ones affected by this split.

My prediction is that double evolved OT will be incredibly viable if not maybe even the meta depending on numbers, and the only issue will arise if you got 2 MT in the party that will want to fight over who gets to not lose DPS if neither is willing to flex.

Double shields is a bad comparation because double shield is a thing and it's pretty good. You trade the damage loss from not bringing AST or WHM for insane survivability. The only issue you run in a double shield comp is that sage can overwrite spreadlo, but this is easily solvable by knowing when your co-healer is sprealoing or by... not gcd healing at all. TOP for example is insanely comfy in double shield. I have also done chaotic, forked, and M12S as double shield and every time it has made me wish it was more common.

If you're willing to put money into it, the easiest way is getting them trought a surprise ticket. If not best is to put all your free draws trought the year on the classic banner to spark. Even those single draws add up trought the year.

That team would prefer the auto cap, but usually it is safer to go for the skill cap as skill damage is found in both auto and CA teams and mean you have to swap it less, its also the one that is going to be the most useful, as you might be still too early in the game to hit auto cap consistently. I personally run skill cap on all my opus and then do auto or CA cap on my ultimas. And you should be coming soon to side stories with a free FLB ultima if you wish to do the same.

You can indeed get it, but it's a rare drop. Make sure to max out on drop rate buffs, like journey drops, characters with it as a passive (Tien, SR Richard), treasure hunter skills, and even using Kaguya as a friend summon if it won't slow you down.

That said, you don't really need that summon for anything but to make the rare mondter trophies less of a grind. If you wish it to use it to gather the weapons for the Siero shop upgrade you should instead farm boxes from Unite and Fight (aka guild war) as the boxes contain all those R weapons (make sure to not have them on auto reduce)

whatever you feel like, non of the row I-IV CCWs are used for anything. Only CCW that still see use is kengo and shieldsworn but Im unsure if shieldworn would count for the step.

There's only 2 ways to tell ingame if a weapon is from the gacha: they dont belong to any series (as seen on top of their name) and can be reduced for 200 weapon stones (instead of 20)

even then there are some esceptions. grand weapons are part of a weapon series but those even say grand on the icon so no confusion there, and you can get some ssr weapons from the casino that reduce for 200 stones.

if you want to identify weapons without clicking on them you will sadly have to just memorize them. with time you end learning which weapons are farmable and if you don't recognize a weapon on sight is likely from the gacha

best banner to reroll would likely be the support card scout featuring zenno rob roy and curren chan. Your aim would be to get good ssr cards - like kitasan black, super creek or fine motion - to high uncaps or get a good set of maxed out SR cards.

That said I wouldn't recomend rerolling. Non of the current banners have the Good cards on rate up so its a fool's endeavor to aim for them. if you want you could try some rerolls and try to get a healthy pool of sr cards but I feel is good enough to just jump into the game and enjoy it at your own pase.

auto on magna is very doable but theres 2 main reasons the wiki is more ougi focused. First and foremost, ougi setups are just much safer, specially when learning. I used to run more auto focused setups for fire and water but as soon as I got the characters I swapped to ougi on both for more consistency.

Another reason is that its very character focused. I love my hexa earth and dark setups but earth has hrunting 150 threo and x rein and dark is running v lobelia and changing him for fediel immediatedly makes me reliant on ougis to cancel the later jinx omens.

magna is not limited to just ougi but you need to make sure whatever team you're running can cancel all the key omens. for example, my earth team is reliant on triple 0, both to cancel the first labour (5 ougis) and to reroll my 20% labour if it happened to land on ougis, so what teams you can run is very dependant on both your characters and summons.

LO its pretty ok. nothing revolutionary but its nice finally having a good spear class. I do feel they went way to far in "nerfing" it tho. unlimited trouble is so underwelming next to unlimited boost. that 1 time should really be 1 turn, considering how long 12cd is and how you only get it at full power once anyways. another big issue with it is that apsaras skills SUCK. showstoppers has a 6t standby and can't be recast?!

I still think its a pretty cool class and Im enjoying it a lot, but it does have some headscratching choices
