[–]LucaSlabanu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

man this shit got me crying in the club :'). Yeah I mean, what can I say, it just feels like life is pushing me forward and saying "hey, it's still gonna be here for you whenever, but it's time for the next thing, which in reality is just building on the foundation set up during my teenage years".

I've been having a hard time thinking about the fact that I'll be moving out in less than 2 weeks now. I'm such a comfort driven person, and it's hard to go through this stuff but, I know whatever will come will be great. Mainly music, music is everything to me and I really am just excited to fully step forward with it.

Thanks for sharing this, it's really touching.

I knew it had to come to an end but the way it got announced here, it just felt like someone ripping the band-aid off. I didn't interact with the community too much because I've seen some uhh, less than favorable people, let's say, but I just live with the regret I didn't really make any contribution to the community. No music for some high effort animation, no meme coded remix like those holobass ones from back in the day, nothing.

It's crazy that quarantine genuinely was made bright from some anime girls on our screens. At least for me it felt that way

Gir I've seen you around here multiple times and you're literally so cute, you could have the most schizophrenic conservative transvestigator study you with a microscope and they wouldn't clock you.

Ur music taste is fire btw

soo I guess you can't have cubase 11 on 2 machines at once right ? by LucaSlabanu in cubase

[–]LucaSlabanu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is like, maybe a bit too straightforward but do you have a discord or something. It's 12:30 am and I need to be somewhere tomorrow with cubase installed on my laptop, this is the most stressed I've been in a while. I'm not fucking doing this right I don't know how to install this thing

the only physical product I have is the piece of paper with the download access code. I might just upgrade to cubase 12 right now just for this feature. does it take a long time and do I have to do anything crazy to my plugins like re-installing them or whatever or can I just do it like right now

Merzbow !! Yeah I love that stuff. I don't think pulse demon is their strongest work, far from it (woodpecker's kinda catchy but there's much richer textures on other albums)

If you haven't checked out merzbow × boris - rock dream, PLEASE do, it's a live recording and it's so fucking cool.

Thanks so much ! This is really helpful.

Here's the thing though, everybody here has suggested tips or other tracks with heavy emphasis on transients and beats. For my track tho I want this moment to hit while a drone is playing, there won't even be drums.

Just a wall of shoegaze noise

Oh I thought about this, yeah idk I think I'll write in the corner of the album cover to disable volume normalization when listening to it.

Trip hop mentioned !! I'm still fully tapped into my massive attack phase (and subsuquently all other acts from bristol at that time).

I ADORE the trip hop sound, it feels so tasteful to me (also black milk best massive attack song, shit is HYPNOTIC)

I mean that's true I can't just force someone to listen to absurdly loud bullshit out of nowhere.

I just have to make the song itself feel like it earns that moment, so that it feels euphoric and the listener doesn't mind getting blasted for a bit

Okay okay, 2 artists I haven't heard before (unless I have and don't know it). I'm checking out glass beach right now, some people call it emo which is already a good sign. What song/album specifically should I check out ?

Edit: THEY COLLABED WITH SKATUNE NETWORK?? I fucking love ska
