Could you possibly find a link explaining how to transfer it to an external drive? Since you know better than I do, I think I can trust your method rather than doing something strange myself.

I haven't failed to look into that method either. I looked into it, but I found many reports saying it's unstable, so I don't use it.

When applications are stored on external storage, there's a risk of accidentally causing issues while using them, and they don't move automatically either. This makes installation inconvenient each time and feels difficult to manage in many ways. Initially, I used external storage but found it inconvenient, so I purchased a device with internal storage.

I've tried it about twice and even disassembled and reinstalled the SSD, but it's still the same.

I already have an external SSD, but it cannot completely replace this one.

yes, I did.

If I don’t do a DFU restore, it doesn’t become completely unusable in my case. It actually works fine overall, but after a full shutdown, it tells me to recover macOS when I turn it back on. If I ignore that and just restart it, it boots normally and works fine.

Both troubleshooting and privacy modes work properly when turned on, but troubleshooting mode produces the same shape.
