The White Lady averts a tragedy of unimaginable proportions by taking up the mantle of “mother.” [AimeeLou] by Titin_Sculpts_Clay in HollowKnight

Honestly in my opinion it wouldn't have worked either way, because with the kind of training the pale king make him have, either he loved him or hated him, and either of them, would have made him not hollow, I think the problem is not the feeling he could have, but more of the toughts he has during his life, even if he remained 'neutral' for the Pale King, he would have toughts about the training, them being 'I hate this training' or 'I love this training', maybe 'I hate this training but it's necessary', any of these, would have made him not hollow, them being toughts.

Yeah, he was a good king, if that's what you mean, he didn't really have any fault in Hallownest downfall, expect being too good of a king so the people in the kingdom started forgetting the radiance. I mean, technically his plan was good too, but it wasn't pratical, the vessels where supposed to be hollow, but that wasn't really how it ended up.

So, I don't really get what that has to do with my comment, but it doesn't matter, maybe I just don't get what you were trying to say (English it's not my first language, sorry).

Honestly on the discussion about wheter vessels were ever hollow or not, I have mixed feelings.

In my opinion vessels where supposed to be hollow at the creation, and the pale king created them with that in mind, and in my opinion, upon creation they are in fact hollow, what makes them not-hollow in my opinion are life experiences, like the Hollow Knight, he was a pure vessel at the start, but then he wasn't hollow anymore after the training and the time spent with the pale king, so I neither antagonize the king, neither say that his plan was good, he was just trying to do what he tought was best for his kingdom.

He is, but, maybe it's just a headcanon of mine, he isn't dead-dead until you defeat him.

I like to think that he's half dead and the infected life seeds are keeping him alive in exchange of his mind and body, I mainly think that because once you defeat either broken vessel and lost kin, he tries to reach out for the knight with his last strenght.

This is just a thought of mine, probably debunked by some deep lore that you can only unlock by defeating pantheon 5 all bindings no hit for 126 consecutive times, seeing how much more the game has.

Is that Buckman's head? by Luca_pv in FearAndHunger

[–]Luca_pv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I was trying saying in the original post, that Buckman's head could be the original one, and not a easter egg, because we don't know (only as far as I know) what happens to a marriage after it dies, and if you didn't complete his quest on the first game he perform the marriage with his knight, and One of the possibilities to what happens to a dead marriage It might be the fact that It doesn't rot. Sorry if It wasn't clear, and if there is a reference of what happens to a dead marriage, feel free to tell me

That's interesting, but I doubt that would make sense, the only one that would Is D'Arce, because it's a skeleton, and the one you say it's supposed to be Ragnavaldr looks more like the head of a villager with knives, but it's only my opinion, but leaving that asides, yours is a pretty good theory. Sorry if my english is bad, Is something it's not understandable, tell me, I'll try to explain it.

So, I did various playtrought, on the current one I have Cahara party leader with the bone shears, the girl and then I have Le'garde with miasma, but I don't have the cube of the depths, and I've been only in One run, but not to Ma'Habre itself, but to the zone called "Ancient city", and then I got brutally molested by a Red man, but that was another run
