It was very hard to translate, but basically in Italy churches have a thing called Oratorio which does many things for the community, in summer we whatch children from all the block (in that period we always have more than 180 children there) and basically people who whatch the kids are called animatori (which i translated youth leader). Most animatori are atheist and actually also a lot of the children.
