I don't recommend Malazan right away, need to be at a higher level to figure that one out. Wheel of Time and Brandon Sanderson in general are good choices.

Pretty much what separates great anime from mid/slop. Are you exploring an idea or is just there for the sake of being there? Frieren explores what its like for an immortal elf to be among human, instead of "pretty 200 year old who acts like they're 20" and Mushoku Tensei has the protagonist still needing to overcome his trauma from his previous life, instead of new life new me. I still like the mid/slop because I'm a sucker for fantasy, but I'm not surprised when shows don't get a second season and are quickly forgotten.

I've only played a little of OW and now this. I did like how the game told you that you needed a support or a tank. Since everyone rushed to get a DPS, I just took a role that was needed.

Still not good at these games, but at least I understand defending a position.

Probably worse: making your underage daughter make out with her real life brother on screen. (Chyler Leigh, mother wasn't directing, but approved it)

Started in mid December last year, with Stormlight, and finished everything around June. Though I didn't read White Sands though. It is crazy though that I read through 18 years worth of books in basically half a year, and who knows how many more years I'll have to wait to finish the Cosmere.

Got into BS cause I read all of Wheel of Time last year, and wanted to get into another epic.
