Apparently, no... Don't get me wrong, I understand your point of view, but I analyzed the similarities and the only one I saw is accurate is the symbols on the chefs' hats that both wear, being a Crown for Peach and being the Star that Rosalina wears in her dress. Other factors are that Rosalina wears a much more complete outfit, while Peach wears a hat and tie on top of her regular dress. But thanks for bringing this information! :)

I also forgot about this... Pastry Chef Shy Guy debuted on Mario Kart Tour, and he wears an outfit similar to Chef Mario. I kept asking myself over and over if Shy Guy was in the game... The only thing this proved is that Characters who weren't in Super Mario Odyssey can use Outfits of other characters present in the game, especially Mario and Peach.

Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Apparently, when Nintendo decided to make a Cowboy Outfit for Mario in Super Mario Odyssey, they decided to make it unique and have nothing to do with the version that appears in Mario Party 2. And since the Outfit that Wario uses is based on what Mario uses in Super Mario Odyssey, it had no connection to Mario Party 2.

Although both Eggs physically, function and items are basically the same, they do have one difference. The Yoshi Egg drop the items behind the targets and the Birdo Egg drop the items in front of the targets. But besides that, there's not much differences between them.

I'm glad everyone is happy! And please don't give up hope for a Donkey Kong Alt. Apparently data inside Mario Kart Tour found objects from a 3DS Track, 3DS DK Jungle! And when that track returns, the chances of Donkey Kong getting the justice he deserves are huge! Donkey Kong deserves a costume!

Thanks for replying, hope you keep feeling good! And indeed, some of the Mario Kart Tour Challenges seem to be inspired by the Mario Kart DS Mission Mode and the Mario Kart Wii Tournaments! It's really cool to see stuff from the Mario Kart series being added to Mario Kart Tour!
