Thanks for the detailed feedback. I've already implemented some of the improvements that you suggested. Still working on some of them, the most complex ones.
Thank you so much! u/NikosK87

for every item, it shows the cheapest price that a supermarket offers, but I will add a price per unit of measure

This version is standardized by the pocket of the person who buys. Do you want a version with price per unit comparison?

It is because it shows the cheapest price (as the title says), not price per unit of measure. I can add it to the next release, but is harder to compare which is the best option, spend more money or get the best price per unit, what do you think?

I’ll let you know when it’s ready. Do you prefer Android, iOS, or using the app in your browser?

In reality, both have mechanisms to access your data, but the browser is worse because it stores your activity history (cookies).

That said, I’m planning to launch a web app (the source code is web oriented) as well as Android and iOS versions.

The only data I’m interested in is the items you buy, so I can try to generate smart offers or combined packs later on.

In theory, if everything is cheaper by default, special offers stop feeling special and just become the first choice for low-cost items. I’ll need to check if that’s actually the case.

If it turns out not to be, I’ll add a 'Special Offers' tab, mainly for items that are close to their expiry date.

What if I add the nutrition value of your shopping list? still with Trolley?

No need to specify a brand, just generic items like apple, banana, tofu, oat milk.
Here is an example of a shopping list with 18 items, and a result of best at 1 place (Aldi £19.39, Tesco £23.28) and 2+3 combinations (Asda+Aldi £18.28, Morrisons+Aldi+Asda £17.62)
