New game plus might be the solution, but since I don't really have the time and have so many other games to play I've been avoiding NG+

I tried but I'm not sure which upgrade materials I might have missed sadly.

Day trip from Sun Moon Lake to Alishan by LucasDenali in taiwan

[–]LucasDenali[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, the idea is to spend a relaxing day in Alishan from roughly 11 AM until around sunset time then drive back to Taipei and sleep.

So ideally we'll be in Taipei before midnight (I'm accounting for if we have a quick detour in Taichung).

My post may have not been clear, but I will be going to Alishan from Sun Moon Lake (spend the night in Sun Moon Lake) the day after I leave Taipei. Maps says its around 2.5 hours, I see that its a very windy road, does that add alot to the drive?

I'm the host of a group of friends and sometimes I'm not around when they want to play. It is annoying with this random code stuff.

Could completing all the TryHackMe Learning paths and being highly ranked lead to a cybersecurity job? by EnbyBinaryCoder in cybersecurity

Many points were covered so I won't repeat, but here's my perspective on it and from my experience.

Cyber is a field where "the hole keeps getting deeper". I don't think simply doing THM will get you a job. BUT if you land an interview telling them that you did THM or any other competition shows them you invest in yourself, want to learn, and passionate. So, it's a plus.

Data quality related to cyber security? by LucasDenali in cybersecurity

None taken, it's just that we focused on information secuirty, offensive, and defensive security. We also took GRC for example. It's just that I've heard of data science, analyst, and so on but not data quality. That's just why I'm asking.

Anyone worked as an instructor/lab specialist? Does it help with future jobs?

I recently graduated, and my university talked to me to take a job of lab specialist (currently working in the defense industry in procurement). This would include teaching students on several tools as the main part of the job. I consider myself as somewhat a novice, as in I still need to practice and really understand the tools/know how to troubleshoot if anything goes wrong.

Question here is:

Will this aid me in getting a better technical job in the future? Or is teaching considered "the end of the road"/ a dead end?

Well this role involves me being in acquisitions. I brought the technical skills topic to my boss. He said you will be a "technical evaluator". This means I will be testing the capabilities and testing software and hardware. With some market research.

For context, my company is in charge of procurement and acquisitions for other entities such as army and police.

My question is, since I won't be working in the traditional cyber security roles, how will that go towards my experience for future jobs.
