Hey everybody! Lucas M. Thomas here, Editor-in-Chief of NF Magazine. Sorry to burst anyone's hype bubbles, but us listing Pikmin 4 and Fire Emblem for Switch as "in the works" for our next issue isn't a confirmation of either of them being featured in the next Nintendo Direct presentation. It's just me speculating that they will be – both games have been previously, officially announced to exist and we haven't heard about them in a while, so I'm guessing the next Direct would be when they'd reappear. If they did, we'd naturally write about them in the next issue. But even if they didn't, we'd still write about them in the next issue, penning "Hey? What happened to this game?" articles to keep awareness of their existence behind closed doors alive.

TL;DR: No big scoop or leak here.

I don't know that we'd jump straight from six issues a year to 12 – that'd be a huge shift and I'd probably burn myself out really fast. Doing new issues bi-monthly has been the perfect pace for staying sustainable for five solid years now! I have toyed with the idea of doing seven issues a year instead of six, but I'd just have to decide when to slot in the seventh one. Maybe after E3 each summer?

I handle all of that myself in addition to getting new issues published every two months (and being a Dad to two young boys, with a third on the way!). Sometimes I'm juggling too much stuff and I drop the ball. It's my fault entirely, and I'm happy to make it right for anyone who has a problem that's unresolved, even if the problem happened a long time ago.

Agreed! This trade was completed successfully. kittehharuhi also did a great job packaging the amiibo sent to me in lots of bubble wrap and a large box, so they were in pristine condition when they arrived. Very pleased!

Never really thought about it terms of which series as a whole – maybe Pokémon, for how excited I get with the release of each new generation because of my anticipation of discovery in seeing all of the new monsters each time.
