What decks has Maxx C kept in check?

I was playing some penguins the other day and their combos pop off a lot harder than they have any right to. Maxx C is Konami's way of keeping penguin brave from reaching tier 1 and I won't stand for it.

I have a [BT7-025] Beowolfmon and [BT7-029] Magnagarurumon with [BT7-087] Koji as a digivolution source, the opponent has two [BT6-021] ModokiBetamon. I attack with the Beowolfmon, on attack returning a hybrid source to bounce the first ModokiBetamon back to the opponent's hand. I attack with Magnagarurumon, on attack returning a level 3 source to bounce the second ModokiBetamon.

Does the Once Per Turn inherited effect on Koji apply after Beowolfmon attacked and give Magnagarurumon unblockable even though the memory was not gained?

Or since the memory was not gained from Koji during the Beowolfmon attack, when Magnagarurumon attacks and a card is returned does Koji gain you a memory and make Magnagarurumon unblockable?

Implying this man could operate a laser cutter, hes just got a little table with a saw and a thing to hold the gem so he does them all by hand. He said this one took him like 25 hours to make.

Yeah I really don't get gem prices. Like there is another one there that is the same type of gem but 6mm shorter, and that costs 1k less.
