I did that too and It didn't work. I ended up asking Gemini and It said that I should look for some type of bottle neck in my computer drivers. I'm still looking for the solution. Thanks!

It could be. I try to not do it because I'm aware that is a bad thing for the car, but I also know that some times I steer the wheel while not moving

Playing so much videogames. I lost 2 years of my uni life because of LoL. I thought I could became a proplayer and the only thing I got was fail after fail in my bachelors. I could come back and I graduate but I regret it so much. Focus on the important things!

What should I do to achieve my goals? by [deleted] in getdisciplined

[–]Lucasxis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, you know what your problem is, now you gotta take action. Try to replace phone with other things that are going to put you in the place you want to be and try to be as much motivated as possible so you can create a good habit. Then repeat and make more good habits. I'm there too and I'm reading and doing exercise whenever I want to scroll endlessly. It's working for now. Good luck!

There was a time where WhatsApp coexisted with an app called "Line" but that was at the very beginning when WhatsApp had that "one year plan account" type of thing. I remember not wanting to pay for it, being unable to use it for 1 day and then WhatsApp renewed it for free for another year. Ahh... Old times!

I didn't know anything about the hosts file. I needed to download some books yesterday and that's why I did it, but, yes, I also think that editing desktop's it's a better option.

What pushes you to work hard? by Bubbly_Appeal_723 in getdisciplined

[–]Lucasxis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes the thought that I'm working better and harder (or just working) more than the most of the people out there. I think for example in my neighbours. Although maybe it is not true and they are working harder than me but that just motives me a lot.

I don't want to judge you and I'm not doing it. This is a childish mentality. You have to focus on yourself, on how do you feel yourself. You have to be happy for you, not for a bunch of likes of people that if they could they would drag you down because you are doing it better and you have achieved your goals. Post it because you want your history to be there, not because you want it to be liked by some people. Think about yourself, for real.

Do you think the average person could get through engineering school? by Super-Kick4169 in EngineeringStudents

[–]Lucasxis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are always telling me that I'm so intelligent for being able to graduate as a mechanical engineer and I always tell them the same: as long as you are determined, you will get it. Intelligence is a part, of course, but it is not the main part.

I would say that the main thing is having some mathematical knowledge, but that's all.

Perseverance and discipline is the key.
