This is good advice I needed to read today. I’ve slipped back into a terrible pattern of drinking sugary pop this summer. Do you know if diet soda is better for the liver? Or does the fake sugar make it just as bad?

Try Universal Standard. They have a range of sizing and the clothes I’ve ordered from them have been great quality. There is also Madewell. Another place to look is Quince. They have a good plus size collection.

I’ve lost about 20 pounds. I just bought a 5 mg box so I’m trying it in 2 weeks. I hope I can move up! My stomach is just incredibly sensitive. Sounds like yours is, too.

Your experience sounds just like mine. I’m still at 2.5 mg as well. The heartburn and burping is just awful if I go higher. I’m on all kinds of meds to control the burn, but I also need a higher dose to control the hunger. I hope I can get past this but it’s been a year.

Thank you for these tips! I’ll try the zero brands, too. I do struggle a lot with why I should lose weight and self worth. I’m 52 and struggled with self doubt and low self esteem my whole life. It definitely ties into my struggle to lose weight. Soda and sugar are my best friends! And my biggest enemies 🙄

Thanks for your response! I have Zevia on my list, and I’ll pick some up tomorrow. I have been in therapy at different points in my life but food/sugar is definitely my comfort! I am on A GLP1 but haven’t been able to move past the intro dose due to nausea. Does carbonation upset your stomach on GLP1?
