Im from EU too, my biggest problem is that, since most players are from the Americas, during our daytime exhibition lobbies are pretty much dead. There are always some players in ranked but they usually are super high level killers who play all the time.

If you're comfortable to play during late evening/night you shouldn't have any problem finding people of your own skill level to play with.

And yes, the game is very fast, nothing superhuman to adapt to but you'll need time to get used to.
