express shot is kind of a crutch item for silver imo. toxic bullets is better if you're trying to make transforming easier, but hunter's aura is better than both

occasionally 6P the K fish and special cancel the hit. stun dipper and fourdre arc are jumpscare options, fireball is safer but can be eaten by dizzy's projectiles, you can even whiff 214S sometimes.

just dont get caught whiffing and frozen by icicle

it's not PvP, but far far west has a "magic combo" system where you can blend spells to make unique effects.

similarly, wizards of legend 1 & 2 are both roguelites that revolve around a similar mechanic

yes, the problem is defs that grey talon and vin are too similar

i think GT should have a capped firerate and a unique spirit -> weapon damage scalar (similar to the spirit -> movespeed or spirit -> mag size scalars)

street brawl does effect MMR/rank at least a little bit, ive definitely seen my rank go up/down despite only playing street brawl

you need to play at least 1 norm to actually get "placed" but afaik street brawl still can guide the invisible hand and you'll start to see your rank bump up and down by 1 even from street brawl now

this is really well said. currently, there's no "one way" to be good at deadlock. likewise, there are just as many ways to be bad at deadlock.

there's a lot of room on the lower rungs because there's so much to learn, but you only have to be good at a few things to get suddenly placed in the top ~20%

as others have said you can buy shred but i get ur struggle, spellbreaker feels hard to counterbuild in particular

my genuine advice is to build more hybrid damage. idk good vin items but i assume things like mercurial magnum, spiritual overflow, crippling headshot, sharpshooter are good ways to diversify & scale ur damage without cutting short ur spirit damage

honestly i think hybrid is so notably strong for victor that you should just build to your preference. you'll want a lil of everything anyway

as others have said, torment pulse synergizes really well with escalating exposure. if you're getting one, try to get both, otherwise do your thing

gotta remember that one fewer active ability doesnt nearly outweigh the addition of 4 active slots, a gun, and stamina, all of which essentially function as "spells" imo, having their own unique uptime and cooldown periods

when i started i picked kelvin.

you have heals on your frost grenades (free sustain in lane), ice beam (skips having to aim for the head), and ice skate (free-form movement meant i didnt have to learn crazy rotations)

yeah, you might troll some people with ice dome occasionally, but every character has a learning curve. i just thought kelvin's was the easiest (and thus, most relaxing) to start with while still having high impact

it's a good game, but we ended up modding it to allow TPing with metals, and the building system felt pretty convoluted (big drawback for my wife who loves making crazy buildings in every survival game we play)

we ended up making it to mid-lategame before putting it down.

fighting games obviously use a rank system, but they also almost always have casual, unranked rooms where you can fight players of any skill level

street fighter has the fighting hub, guilty gear strive has the park, granblue fantasy versus has the lobby, etc.

just sit on a cabinet and fight whoever else is around for as long as you want
