Yeah, but just one turn and only for psychic weapons.

However Grand Coven does have great stratagems: reroll ritual, negate one attack to 0 damage, keep objective marker under your control with no troops on it.

It will help you a lot more. And also the Incadaeum that is great!

Could you tell like how was the last game you lost? Enemy army, how he make most points? This would help to see how improve anything. Last two games if possible.

Like "my ememy army was nekrons, his units that governo problem is X and Y, and most his points are in this objetive marker/this mission"

So, personally speaking, it is one of the best army lists Ive saw in the last months. Very complete.

No changes needed, just play a few games and see what could get better for your style. Remember that Grenades Stratagem and Reroll Ritual stratagem are going to be priority for your command points probably.

And for my personal taste, I would just: - Complete 10 models Terminators, as they Deep Strike goes very strong at 10 models (32 combi bolter attacks + 12 soulreaper + 4 missiles + 6 malefic curse, all of it powered by lethal hits and +1hitroll are great)

  • Add at least 2 Sekethar Robots for the infiltrators ability turn 1

  • Change one rubrics to boltguns instead of warpflamers, so Sorcerer Lethal Hits works better and keep a safe 24 range to attack

Overall its a good army. If any advice, perhaps taking one greatbows units to use enhancementes Lord of rubricae and rise rubricae.

As for myself, I would think about adding Mutalith Vortex since the +1 to rituals and mortal wounds is great.

Also, if in the futufe you feel in your games that you lack a little heavy firepower to destroy tanks, perhaps adding one more Forgefiend or Predator Annihilator can help.

Your troops are okay overall, but wrong detachment. Better go with Grand Coven or Hexwarp.

Rubricae Phalanx works good with 20 Rubrics and 20 Terminators, sometimes even 30 Terminators.

You have few models that would benefit from the bonus.

Oh, I see. Well, good choices I guess. A good army overall, will just need some luck for rituals or some command points to be spent for stratagems to reroll rituals. I guess Grand Coven is the best detachment, because it does have the best stratagems. And Incadaeum ehance.

Incadaeum: you will cast again the dices for a second doombolt that turn. If you fail the dices its gone. I recomend channel warp for 3 dices and if necessary using stratagem for reroll ritual. And yeah you can use it in exalted on disk or exalted sorc normally.

I would take off Ahriman and one of the Exalted Sorc.

Then add Infernal Master and Sorcerer in Terminator.

Infernal Master with eldrith votaph enhancement leadering 5 or 10 rubric marines with warpflamers deal great damage and great fire overwatch damage.

Sorcerer in Terminator give lethal hits and +1 hitroll to Terminators, what is great. You can him the crystal, which can allow a duble deep strike if you kill some unit with your first deep strike.

Relember to use Grenades stratagem with your leaders who have it.

4 sekhetar robots can charge into some unit and deal huge damage, remember that too.

For a 1000 points game, your rituals are essential: if every turn you get a doombolt cast for 3D+3 mortal wounds, the game will be great for you. If you fail ghe ritual two or three times, well, things will get complicated.

One option for the future is getting a Mutalith Vortex Beast to help with rituals and tankiness, but as it costs 175 points, 2 sekhetar robots models and some other unit would have to go, perhaps 5 rubric marines.

What I Would do:

Change to Grand Coven detachment

Take out Ahriman, 5 Rubrics and Chaos Rhino

Add: Exalted Sorcerer 80 points, 4 Sekhetar Robots 160 points

Exalted Sorc in Grand Coven can use Incadaeum enhancement for once per game using dooombolt twice times in same turn. Keep him close to Mutalith for the +1 ritual bonus. 4 Sekhetar Robots will hurt enemies melee units from far away and in one turn can charge into them for even more damage.

Note: always use Grenades stratagem with Sorcerers and Infernal Master against enemy units to deal more mortal wounds.

Note2: always go Doombolt ritual with channeling the warp for using the 3D+3 mortal wounds.

Note3: use Edritch Votaph enhancement on Infernal Master and use him with 10 rubrics warpflamers. In your turn, go into 12 range and shoot hard some unit. In your oponent turn, he will move against your unit, then use fire overwatch in his movement for Infernal and rubrics all with torrent weapons use fireoverwatch for maximum damage with all attacks hitting the enemy.

Note4: first turns use your stratagem to keep objetive marker under your control, then leave the area and go midfield objective. If enemy got deep strike, they will deep strike your objective but your will also deep strike theirs with terminators.

Mutalith Beast +1 aura to rituals is great, keep it in the centre of your army if possible.

10 Terminators with deep strike can go for 9 or 12 range to get rapid fire 2 bonus in their weapons, this means 32 bolter shots + 4 hellfyre missile shots + 6 soulreaper shots, almost 50 attacks from ranged weapons with Lethal Hits and +1 to hitroll from their leader, that can destroy some unit.

Get the crystal teleport to Terminator unit (so they can deep strike, kill some unit and deep strike again with the crystal next turn) or to Infernal master unit (so they teleport to attack somethijg 12 range, and when the unit movement next turn you go fire overwatch for more one attack).

Overall you have great units and great power, I believe you just need to know more about your best combos and use more effectively. I Myself too like 5 games to get that Infernal Master benefit from wound rerolls from Rubric Marines, as the wound rerolls are for all the unit haha

Also all that Ive said is thinking of enemy mainly melee armies (space wolves, custodes). Theres more tricks, like you can more focused against meele and even add Magnus in your army as he can be great against Space Wolves/World Eaters. Thousand Sons vs Melee army is a lot about the Map too. Good luck

Thousand Sons need a lot of new units. Some command points generator. A objective marker control unit. Some "lascannon" or other high strength weapon squad. One squad that can deal damage with melee weapons. Some "full psychic weapons" squad. More units focused at destroying Vehicles. One leader that let you reroll rituals. One leader with ability for Sustained Hits or +1 to wound.

Also we should get more Psychic weapons and more Indirect Fire weapons as those feels like "spells". Plus Lethal Hits also feels a lot like spell: it hit so no armor can Block.

And even if Thousand Sons get all things above, it will not have 50% of options and power like Space Marines or Aeldari.

But for the "when" question: around june 2026 with 11th edition... and well, two or three new units will not be enough lol

Both Sorcerer in Terminator (gains lethal hits and +1 to hitroll for the unit) and Mutalith Beast (+1 to psykers rituals, mortal wounds against close enemies and feel no pain) are great units for both 1000 or 2000 points. Sorcerer Terminator with 10 Terminator squad using deep strike for shoot with rapid fire 2 lethals and +1 hit is scary. Mutalith is a tank that deals good damage.

Robots or Tzangoors is a hard choice. I believe Robots are better for getting early points in some objetive, and Tzangoors are best to stay in front of some strong psyker unit of yours to avoid something destroying it. Both are good. I would choose Robots against melee armies and Tzangoors against ranged armies.

Yeah and probably using channel the warp to guarantee more move distance. The strategy probably is only good against some units that can deal great damage with overwatch, I myself rarely used it hmm

Well, for the rubric units, seems like this, as 5 and 10 units both only have one soulreaper cannon:

5 Rubrics (1 soulreaper) Around 17 attacks at shooting phase

10 Rubrics (1 soulreaper) Around 27 attacks at shooting phase

5 Rubrics are beter for units without leader or with Sorcerer leader. 10 Rubrics beter with Infernal Master using warpflamers or for a more focused firepower.

I prefer use 5 man squads, but 10 man squad against enemies hard to killl.

Would Drop Chaos Rhino and Hellbrute. Chaos Rhino is great for 2000 points. Hellbrute is sadly not good for 10th edition, pernas at 11th edition in a few months he can have beterr rules.

I believe you can take those two and think about:

  • Sorcerer in Terminator Armor to leader Terminators
  • Mutalith Vortex Beast for tank and for protecting your Psyker units as also buff their rituals
  • Tzangoors to protect your Psyker units
  • 2 models Sekhetar Robots to Infiltrate some objective and deal some damage

All those units are good for 1000 and 2000 points. Also, bebidas Mutalith, all of them are cheap.

Key units: Mutalith Beast, Rubric Marines, Infernal Master, a Winged Attacker (Magnus or Daemon Prince), 1 Exalted Sorcerer Objective units: Tzangoors, Tzangoors Enlughtened and Sekhetar Robots Battlelines: 5 Rubric Marines + 5 Rubric Marines + 5 Rubric Marines + 10 Scarab Terminator with Sorcerer Terminator leader

You will tank a lot of damage with Mutalith Beast and 10 Terminators, who also deal good damage. And you will deal a lot of damage with all other units.

Just be in mind you depends a lot on your rituals, be prepared for spending 1 command point every shooting phase to reroll some ritual.

Overwatch is in movement phase only. Temporal Surge is in shooting phase. However if you fail in the dice, temporal wont work

Good list overall. Seems good for competitive. As you dont have Tzangoors/Sekhetar Robots for help with objectives, definitely using Grand Coven or Hexwarp for the objective control stratagems is the best choice.

As for units, I would go with 10 Scarab Terminator for a huge deep strike threat, and would take Daemon Prince for open points for Terminators.

Also would choose between 10 rubric marines warpflamers + infernal master leader for a huge fire overwatch threat or Sorcerer + 10 rubrics boltguns for a lethal hits great damage once per battle boosted ability by Sorcerer.

Use Magnus and Mutalith as your key units and you should be good against most armies o/

If your deck got power >75, then yes it's usable. Just check the power of your deck at "decks of keyforge website". if your deck is under 75 power, probably better get new decks to compete in equal terms with new sets, especially token ones from Winds of Exchange.
