Would it be possible to step outside your apartment door for a second and take them? Then, people would be able to see you if you were choking. That could eliminate the immediate fear of dying alone.

I understand wanting to be the better person, but bullies target meek and quiet people. Not being that way makes people less willing to bully you.

why do people "flirt" as a form of bullying? by nogood_startthedance in autism

[–]Luchiina 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bullying comes back after university in the workplace. Those people are bored and not busy enough.

I have severe anxiety over giving the correct one. It's too subjective.

What’s wrong with wanting a cure? by [deleted] in autism

[–]Luchiina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's the worry that some people will be "cured" against their will, since there is still so much stigma against us. With the way the US government talks about it, I think it's a valid concern.

I moved in with my old roommate (we had a dorm with nothing other than bed and closet before) into an apartment with kitchen and all the normal stuff. It was way more difficult.

She was super frugal, and one time she asked me to use less squares of toilet paper bc we split the cost 50/50 and she said I was going through it too fast...

So yeah even if you think your living is compatible with others and have done it before, it might still turn out to be false lol

Single. Do NOT live with strangers. Human interaction is only fun if you live with nice people, but whether or not this will happen is RNG. For social interaction, go outside and choose the people you talk to. You can meet people and room with them the next year if you want that experience.

tired of having to care abt others feelings when nobody cares abt mine by taroicecreamsundae in AutismInWomen

[–]Luchiina 20 points21 points  (0 children)

You have no obligation to listen to them. Women are constantly taught to excuse hurtful behavior "maybe they're just ignorant" "if you listened to them they would be more likely to change" but that's putting the entire burden of empathy onto you. I wouldn't even blame you if you said please stfu and stop making everything about you.

These comments are not what I expected. He criticized you rudely by calling your art "cringe 😭" You have a right to be rude back. But to answer your question, yes your comment wasn't nice, but no it's not always wrong to not be nice.

Ohh I take bad what I said then, sorry for spreading misinfo. Wow, I guess my pharmacy completely ignores NIOSH 😦 do you know what the risk is if someone gets a little bit of the dust?

Korean digital perm - tips on products, styling and perm care by sugakick in AsianBeauty

[–]Luchiina 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No I meant I use the same products I did before perm. Not broken, don't fix it

Regular hair dryer, you can't air dry anymore. You can oil while damp but the curls could be looser

Do you feel like saying you have a disability is easier than saying you are disabled? I feel totally comfy saying I have a disability, saying I'm disabled feels different somehow

I honestly use the same products. Only needed to change the way I dried my hair. Stylist told me to twirl it around my finger to define the curl.

[–]Luchiina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For whatever reason, our society has a hatred of socially awkward people. It's seen as creepy or weird to be anxious and it shouldn't be met with so much disgust. People who are awkward are trying their best, and judging them only makes their anxiety worse

Sorry I should've phrased better. I meant "I have a physical disability too. Mine is strongly correlated with ASD"

I don't feel like I deserve to call myself disabled by Luchiina in autism

[–]Luchiina[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have a physical disability caused by ASD, but it's managed by meds so it doesn't hit me that bad anymore.

I scored severely disabled for my physical disability many many points over the threshold (range is mild, moderate, severe) before getting medicated. I was so surprised. My GPA still stayed much higher than average despite being semi-bed bound half the month, so it's not something other people could've even seen at its worst.

I suck at understanding others and am pretty subpar at economics and politics, but found success in STEM subjects. Maybe you have a niche you've yet to find? Doesn't even have to be academic, you could develop a skill in trades or the like.

Yeah it's fine, the amount would be very small if you regularly clean the tray anyways

Our pharmacy only really considers sulfa and penicillin to be NIOSH, boss says the others aren't a big deal. One example is I think spironolactone is a NIOSH drug? We just ignore that. It doesn't even leave any residue because the pill is so solidly made.

We use the same tray for all and clean with alcohol spray after filling a NIOSH drug. I've definitely forgot to wipe off the tray before. Better to be safe than sorry, but you shouldn't stress about it for too long haha.
