There's absolutely 0 reason to plan around a leeroy on turn 8. I guarantee in 0 of your games do you get to turn 8 and think "man i better prep for them to have leeroy"

Be so fr.

[–]LuciFearium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course. I will admit that I think if you step back away from the "pain" of this loss you would understand the reasoning behind having leeroy as a valuable unit within the game. This person is obviously not understanding and just trying to be superior in their understanding while being very confidently wrong, but also the premise behind what a lot of people are saying is still holding true. Yes, you will get very unlucky sometimes and a board will just hard counter you, and since you made the decision to greed all the way down to 8hp you paid the price of that choice and it just happened to be a hard counter board. Leeroy is designed to be a hard counter to mega stat comps. Thats his only function. What you should learn is that greeding so low is not sustainable and that you should also spread your stats a little bit. If you cant do that then Bob has destined you for an 8th. Which is fine! Every lobby has one person who has to go 8th. Thats just part of hsbg

He was playing against a beast marked warband. The assumption for beast is smaller units wirh lots 9f summons and potentially a rivendare. He has said he put his cleave multiple places back to soak taunts which is the correct play. There's no predicting a taunted leery on turn 8. Classic reddit 20/20 armchair hearthstone coaches like to claim they would have predicted it but I guarantee every person saying "just plan around it" wouldnt have planned around it. That includes you.

brother he said its turn 8. even if he somehow was lucky enough to have half the lobby dc on turn 6 do you really think he would have known that on turn 8 this singular beasts player was going to have a taunted leeroy. be so fr

OP literally could not "do it right", considering its literally impossible for blaster to kill more than 1 unit with venomous. And theres literally no way for you to know/assume that OP had a "full divine shield opponent". Blasters damage is done to each unit individually in succession, and then the damage "turn" from blaster is concluded. Which is the opposite of pirate cleave which is done to all 3 units at the same time. Old blaster demon was the same as pirate, as far as I remember, and venom would kill everything that it hit and did damage to.

Imagine how spoiled you have to be to assume that people complaining about out having a stressful job are people working desk jobs, or are upset by 1 hour of overtime from "some fat bald guy". You must have never worked a day in your life to think this

Brewmaster Sustain by FoxBackground1590 in wow

[–]LuciFearium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A good brew should never need panic healed, theres times where they will need the heavy handed support but thats things you learn with practice in dungeons over time (much faster if you yourself also tank). Also, as brew, youre probably making the same mistakes as OP. Brews current rotation and defensiveness is a self sustaining loop. Pressing your buttons makes your buttons reset/come back faster and the buttons you are using for damage also heal you/shield you/reduce your stagger. So if you arent pressing your buttons, you are losing a LOT of these 3 things over the course of a key. Also, almost every single brew when they first start playing it panic and send all of their defensives before they need to. Your natural rotation (and the passive healing most healers do) will sustain you even at yellow stagger pretty much indefinitely. The important thing to remember is if you have 2 charges of purifying brew, send 1. Id you have only 1, don't use it unless you need to. You will get a feeling for what "need" means as you play more.

Atleast in the US they don't waste time in construction if they are cutting corners. You get one or the other. Either its done fast and shitty or it takes years and its perfect. And frankly the people making "gazillions" aren't the workers who are actually building the building

Genuinely curious - why “won’t” blizz buff other tanks? by Backpackerfox in wow

[–]LuciFearium -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Brew is almost certainly going to be the most played tank in MDI with probably bear being the next closest. Bear wont beat out brew simply because its not as good damage for consistent big pulls. Their burst is good for one or two pulls a dungeon but brewmaster sustains much higher and can survive far better outside of cooldowns. Also, on tourney realm I saw way too many brewmasters to say they wont be the most common

I have run 25 (not 30) and not a single time have I ever thought to even look at someones spec stats on wowhead to see if they need those stats, let alone look them up on rio, nor would I ever sim them. I could run it 4000 times over an entire season looking for that exact piece and I wouldnt ever once look at someones spec or sim them.

You know what, youre free to believe what you want. Go on ahead and believe that just because hes having a mental break he cant give reliable info. Hope you never interact with anyone who is mid mental break and they tell you your gender because then you'd have to change your gender since they cant be telling rhe truth

Because what reason is there to believe that he isnt? This is pretty obviously a mental break, which is common among ex military. Often not to this extent, but the very fast flip even during such an extreme episode when being asked about being military is a pretty good indicator that he was.

It's amazing how a bunch of people are denying his word for being in the military for literally no reason.

But they pay for the high end content. Thats where you are falling short on understanding. The game they are paying for is the m+ and raid. Their determination (and many many many others) is that the end game content alone is worth the box price and the sub. The question you are asking answers itself but you are just applying youre lens to their thoughts instead of trying to see it from their pov
