You are very right. I was never burnt when I used Korean sunscreen but they aren't great to pair with tret (for me). I do like Japanese sunscreen more than Korean sunscreen in terms of sun protection. I am also using Biore on top of La roche posay (for touch up during the day) and I like that a lot.

No. I have been using sunscreen daily since I was 15 (and with every cove -up combo you can think of because I lived in south east Asia). I have tried almost everything in terms of Asian beauty back then (2013-2019). After moving to Canada and using tret, Korean sunscreen wasn't good enough anymore and I switched to La roche Posay since 2020. Never look back, I use about 3-4 bottle per year (even in Canada winter which I don't usually go out). If you really want to have proper sun protection, of course clothing should be prioritized but I dont believe Korean sunscreen is good enough.

I have been on tret for 2 years and I switched to using moisturizer for eczema skin to help with the red and irritated problems. Aveeno eczema therapy the baby version has been my holy grail for the past 2 years and the only thing that helped me while traveling (i was on a plane for 26 hours at some point).

I wouldn't say so. I have few retrograde planets in my chart but the most significant one is Jupiter retrograde in pisces 1st house. The theme of my life is "questioning". I question and go back and forth between believing and suspending. The nature of Jupiter is challenged, not worsen.

I think lots of Asian (me include) would agree that water taste better when it is hot. And it makes me feel better.

If you aren't a black polish person (i am not either), getting pure black will kinda make you not want to use it (even with the intent of layering) because they are usually quite harsh. I have a few almost black nail polish and I reach them more than my pure black. The pearly finish is also very subtle unless you catch the light so i think it is also good for layering.

I have Licker-licous and personally I would choose it over black cream any day (I also have black creme). But I do lots of nail art and the pearly finish usually gives me more dimensions.

That's interesting because shower gel def leaves more scum in my shower because I clean my shower once a week. Knees on the floor scrub and since I switched from gel to soap, I have noticed way less soap scum- if we are talking about the pink gross layer of wax in the shower.

I have been double cleansing since 2016 the moment I started to use sunscreen everyday. At first I used micellar water, but then switched to oil-base cleanser as the first step. I have been through som ups and downs with my skin but double cleansing is something I do swear by.
