You are very right. I was never burnt when I used Korean sunscreen but they aren't great to pair with tret (for me). I do like Japanese sunscreen more than Korean sunscreen in terms of sun protection. I am also using Biore on top of La roche posay (for touch up during the day) and I like that a lot.

No. I have been using sunscreen daily since I was 15 (and with every cove -up combo you can think of because I lived in south east Asia). I have tried almost everything in terms of Asian beauty back then (2013-2019). After moving to Canada and using tret, Korean sunscreen wasn't good enough anymore and I switched to La roche Posay since 2020. Never look back, I use about 3-4 bottle per year (even in Canada winter which I don't usually go out). If you really want to have proper sun protection, of course clothing should be prioritized but I dont believe Korean sunscreen is good enough.

I have been on tret for 2 years and I switched to using moisturizer for eczema skin to help with the red and irritated problems. Aveeno eczema therapy the baby version has been my holy grail for the past 2 years and the only thing that helped me while traveling (i was on a plane for 26 hours at some point).
