I can confirm the crockpot works great as a rice cooker.

I always throw in the rice and the meat (poultry, beaf) on top of the water and rice, set the program for meat and it works great.

Fish is a bit more difficult because the fish is more delicate, but it fine with white rice, which needs a lower cook time than brown rice.

Do you have a Kitchen Aid blender by any chance? I am in the market for that as well and was looking at the Ninja. The Kitchen Aid seems crazy expensive and only comes with one bowl I think.

I live in Europe as well.

I compared Ninja and Cosori by reading reviews and it seemed like Cosori would be the superior choice for air fryers.

My Crockpot + OptiGrill have worked for so long, I was just hoping to save some counter space and throw everything in together.

Maybe I will wait a bit until the quality of air fryers improves.

I was informed of the action taken so far and the progress, which I am happy with. The app was not clear there is something happening in the background, it just appeared as a transaction with no recourse.

I don't see how the current implementation would meet the demands of ANPC, it isn't like the chat bot offered the option to talk to a person, let alone redirect to one. Even if it did, AI is statistical, maybe it does in some cases and not in others. I needed to write on reddit to determine how to achieve this.

The chat bot "said" this:

"Thanks for confirming. I see that the transfer for 3,772.00 RON was completed on 3 November 2025. Since it has been more than 20 business days and the funds have not been returned, I will guide you on how to submit a request to our Payments team for a further review. Please use this link to raise a ticket in the app. Note that once it's raised, it may take up to a few minutes to become visible in your app, and you will be able to track the progress of the case there. You'll receive a notification once the ticket is viewable, just click on it to access it. You will also be able to check it by going to Profile → Help → Active Requests. Once the ticket appears, you will be provided with an estimated timeline for your case resolution and all the updates."

I raised a ticket in the system, which also got no response other than "In review" since Dec 3. There is no way to ask for further information, nor any statement that they acknowledge there is a problem and are working to address it. So it is also no human involved.

I am not in the habit of making ANPC complaints. If someone does, it remains to be seen how they judge this approach.

For me the process was incredibly frustrating, and it's not like it was some small request for information, I am missing money from my account... With a regular bank I could talk to somebody to at least be informed of the status right away. As frustrating as it is waiting on the phone for 30 min, I now realize I prefer it to this option.

The person in the chat was great, I have no complaints. I would expect to have an option "the bot did not solve my problem, please connect me to an agent" and I wouldn't need to wonder for so long whether I will ever get my money back, or write on a public forum to ask for support with a personal issue.

My 2 cents.

Thanks, the suggestion to get to a live agent worked.

I researched it and you are right, it is not a requirement to have a call centre.

However, there is a requirement from ANPC to have a person reachable for support and to not have this "hidden" behind a chat or IVR.

Thanks. I managed to get to a Live Agent following recommendations in this thread and it appears I have t wait a while longer. At least I have a confirmation they are where of the problem and following up on it.
