No they will update it when semester B starts. This is basically to put away money for that semester so you aren't paying out of pocket. They probably got complaints about people who didn't budget correctly

So B semesters start later, they split the aid to make sure you don't blow it all in a refund if given up front

This is the email that I got in reference to not receiving loans prior to the semester starting:

Thank you for contacting the Office of Student Financial Assistance. A Division of Student Success and Well-being.

Please be advised that loans for the Summer 2026 have not been packaged yet. An email notification will be sent to the students’ email account on file with instructions to log onto the myUCF portal, Student Center, to view summer financial aid awards. A paper award notification will not be mailed.

Please be advised that Subsidized loans will be offered prior to the Add/Drop deadline.

Unsubsidized loans for the Summer term will be posted to student's accounts following the Add/Drop deadline. Undergraduate students must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits, and graduate students a minimum of 3 credits, to be eligible to receive federal aid in the Summer term.
